Adorable overload! "The Daily Show" gives us Anderson Cooper AND puppies!

Hot on the heels of surviving New Year's Eve with Kathy Griffin, CNN newsman Anderson Cooper showed up on The Daily Show last night to moderate the first (and last) "Road to the Doghouse - Puppedential Debate".

The Obama daughters are still looking for the perfect pup, and it's up to Anderson to weed out the mutts. Will he sniff out a winner? The shocking conclusion is guaranteed to leave you wagging your tail!

    Somehow just the thought of Barack Obama putting a dog collar on Anderson Cooper and leading him around on a leash gives me the oddest fluttery feeling...

    amusing stuff. for some reason, hearing him say 'bitch' made me gasp. i don't know what that says about anderson. maybe he needs to do more swearing...? it was a bit weird. :-P

    you know what, I can't remember ever hearing him swear...it did feel kinda weird...but oh so right! But leave it to Anderson to use a swear word the correct way!

    He only used the F word once in his autobiography. It was a little jarring, but made him seem a little more down to earth. He is just way too polite.

    I don't think that was a Daily Show skit. I think that was actually something CNN did, Jon was just poking fun at them for devoting that much attention to the Obama puppy search.  It was pretty funny though.

    This was a Daily Show skit with the cooperation of Anderson Cooper. I'm not even sure TDS needed to get CNN's permission to use their name and logo since this was a parody of sorts.
