Big Brother, now in pig vision!
Following this assortment of carefully-selected news items, interested readers can find a refreshing pic of a hot man in underwear after the jump. Yes, we're serious.
- Oh, this is too easy. Last night's Big Brother featured a veto competition that forced some housemates into wearing tight pink pig suits. How tight? So tight that CBS actually had to blur out the bacon. Watching the slur-slinging Jeff run around in a pig suit was, well, fitting. Form-fitting.
- Shawn Pyfrom is leaving Desperate Housewives to pursue "other interests", and will only make occasional guest appearances as gay character Andrew during the upcoming season. Um ... how is this different than what he was doing before? And does this mean we've seen the last of Andrew's hot nudie movie star/doctor husband?

- Outsports has the harrowing account of World Outgames runner Dean Koga surviving a bomb attack on the track where he was competing: "I felt a sting and there was blood flowing from the relay baton I was holding".
- One of the more controversial moments at Comic-Con occurred with EA Games and their "booth babe" debacle (to promote their game Dante's Inferno they set up a contest requiring people to snap a "lustful" photo of themselves with one of the conventions booth workers, who were mostly young females). Needless to say, this didn't go over very well with many people, including a Gaygamer.net blogger named PixelPoet. He decided to send in a photo of himself from an earlier gaming event with a "booth bear". He ended up winning a runner-up prize, but is not too happy about it.
And today's Briefs are brought to you by...

The link doesn't seem to ... well, be a link. Nothing happens when I mouse over it.
Otherwise, a great selection of stories!
Fixed it!
No! Not Andrew Van De Kamp!
Well, I guess I'm done with "Desperate Housewives." They keep getting rid of the characters I like. Andrew was the main reason I continued to watch the show the past few terrible seasons. He's the reason I tuned in in the first place.
I guess we won't see Andrew and Alex's wedding after all.
Not to diminish anything
I feel so shallow commenting on the briefs guy AGAIN...
...but he looks a bit like John Foreman of Switchfoot :)

Bomb at Outgames
Bomb Outrage
I must agree! If this was an international sports competition such as the swimming in Rome right now, there would be massive coverage. This is the first I even heard about the bombing almost 2 days later! Why is this? I know its not super serious in terms of injury but someone was throwing multiple bombs!
How singularly innocent I look this morning.
Sin to Win contest
I call shenanigans on EA's claim that the "booth bear" runner-up was chosen at random. They obviously thought they could squelch some of the (completely warranted) outcry of a blatantly sexist and heterosexist stunt: "See guys? We aren't alienating The Gays; one entered the contest and almost won!" It's transparent and desperate, just like the contest and the company itself.

I didn't even knew there was
I didn't even knew there was an event such as the Outgames, it really sucks that this thing happens, I really hope they were really fireworks because it would be unbareable that this incident would have surpassed the events security.
Oh and by the way, I'm not so aware of the homophobic comment in BBrother so forgive me on my compliment the pig guy, he looks so gay and so hot.
