Following this assortment of carefully-selected news items, interested readers can find a refreshing pic of a hot man in underwear after the jump. Yes, we're serious.

  • I know it seems like we sometimes go overboard trying to post hot pics of out mega-man Cheyenne Jackson, but we do have a legitimate excuse to show this pic of him from NYC's fashion week festivities. It's because ... well, he's friggin' adorable!
  • An article in the Chicago Tribune tries to shed some new light on whether kids raised by same-sex parents have more psychological problems than kids raised by heterosexual parents. The general consensus? No.
  • I'm still not sure this isn't some kind of hallucination, but apparently Elton John is executive-producing Pride & Predator, about an alien who crash lands in the middle of a period film. Producer (and Elton's partner) David Furnish describes it as "a fresh and funny way to blow apart the done-to-death Jane Austen genre by literally dropping this alien into the middle of a costume drama, where he stalks and slashes to horrific effect". Oh please say it stars Kiera Knightley!

  • Back before Christmas, we brought you the NSFW hotness that was the 2009 Gods Of Football Calendar, which featured the studs of Australian rugby stripping down for a good cause. One of the players featured, David Williams (who usually goes by the nickname Wolfman) is prominently featured in the behind-the-scenes DVD to be released this week, and likes being a gay icon and is "thankful for their support". You're welcome David, and just for that, we're making you our briefs guy for today.
  • Andy Samberg is moving from Saturday Night Live to the March cover of Out magazine, and talks about playing a gay character in the upcoming Paul Rudd bromedy I Love You, Man: "No one is going to look at my character and say, ‘It’s funny because you’re a straight guy playing a gay guy.’ It’s funny because the character is funny.'"
  • Finally, it's that time of year again. The awards show to end all awards shows is coming up (no not that awards show, I'm talking about the Bravo A-List Awards), so be sure to head on over and vote for your gay faves. Last year's show will be hard to top, but with Kathy Griffin hosting again, it's sure to be memorable.

And today's Briefs are brought to you by...

David Williams!
