Following this assortment of carefully-selected news items, interested readers can find a refreshing pic of a hot man in underwear after the jump. Yes, we're serious.

  • Boyzone showed up at the Ireland Music Awards last night only to lose "Best Irish Pop Act" to rivals Westlife for the umpteenth time. As consolation they performed their new smash single "Getting Dressed in the Dark". *May not have actually happened.
  • Webster's Dictionary has expanded the definition of marriage to include same-sex couples. Worldnetdaily.com is not happy. Ha!
  • Here's an article about body image problems and the alarming rise in eating disorders among gay men. They've found the culprit, though: "the reason most cited as responsible for gay men’s body image issues is the same reason cited for heterosexual women’s body image issues: dating men."

Now what was that PIN again? (Pic: Getty)

  • Above is a personal safe in a suite of the Axel Hotel in Barcelona, Spain (they also have hotels in Buenos Aires, Argentina and a just-opened hotel in Berlin, Germany). Axel Hotel is the first international hotel chain to cater specifically to a GLBT clientele I'm not sure what that means, but I have a vision of shirtless bellboys.
  • Finally, in sad news, Brazil has lost their own openly gay member of legislature. Before he became a politician, the late Clodovil Hernandes was a fashion designer and TV gossip show host.

And today's Briefs are brought to you by...

This guy!
