Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo Martone will be tying the knot (Pic: Getty)

Following this assortment of carefully-selected news items, interested readers can find a refreshing pic of a hot man in underwear after the jump. Yes, we're serious.

  • Congratulations to fashion God Marc Jacobs and his boyfriend Lorenzo Martone on their engagement. We wish them all the best, but if it doesn't work out, Lorenzo, I'm always in the market for a papa bear. Just sayin'.
  • We're all still stunned by the sudden, inexplicable death of Natasha Richardson, and AMFAR has released an In Memoriam tribute. In addition to her great talent, Natasha was also a board-of-trustees member of the AIDS organization, and lost her father, director Tony Richardson to the disease. Broadway will also dim its lights tonight in remembrance of the TONY winning star.*ty to reader Joseph for the tip.
  • GLAAD has announced that gay fave Kathy Griffin will receive the Vanguard Award and out Bishop Gene Robinson will receive the Stephen F. Kolzak Award at the 20th Annual GLAAD Media Awards, to be held on April 18th in Los Angeles. And if you happen to be in NYC tomorrow, head over to the Ritz Bar for Thank GLAAD It's Friday, a national networking event series for young LGBT professionals.

  • Above you can see a funny but NSFW (language) clip from Collegehumor.com called Bros Before Hos: The Musical. Do you remember the time?

Kenley Collins performing Cat Scratch Fever

  • Project Runway Season Five finalist Kenley Collins was the girl many of us loved to hate, with her Katy Perry-esque look and sob stories (she grew up on a tugboat, and it apparently scarred her for life). Kenley is now facing charges of assault and criminal possession of a weapon ... a cat. The charges stem from a domestic violence incident with her boyfriend Zak Penley: "According to law enforcement sources, an enraged Collins woke Penley up just after 7 a.m. by hurling their cat in his face. Then she threw her laptop, and as he fell and crawled on the floor, slammed a door on his head. She threw three apples, and doused him with water, before he was able to dial 911." Well, I guess she won't be changing her name to Kenley Penley any time soon.
  • Finally, a reminder to come back tonight at 6pm PST/9pm EST for a live chat with TV writer and executive producer Jane Espenson. Among other credits, Jane was involved in making the Gaeta character gay on Battlestar Galactica and also wrote for gay fave Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

And today's Briefs are brought to you by...

This guy!
