- Out director/producer Lee Daniels is one of the many luminaries attending the Tribecta Film Festival in NYC. Lee helped bring us Halle Berry's Oscar-winning performance in Monster's Ball, a full-frontal Stephen Dorff in Shadowboxer, and his much-acclaimed Push will hopefully be this year's Slumdog Millionaire when it's released later this year.
- Teen queen Miley Cyrus is apparently a supporter of marriage equality, at least according to her Twitter page: "Jesus loves you and your partner and wants you to know how much he cares! That's like a daddy not loving his lil boy cuz he's gay and that is wrong and very sad! Like I said everyone deserves to be happy. I am a Christian and I love you — gay or not. Because you are no different that anyone else! We are all God's children!" If Miley really did Tweet this (and keep in mind that Twitter can be hacked), it's a pretty big statement of support from the Disney star.
- Speaking of support, Hugh Jackman spoke to parade.com and once again was questioned about rumors around his sexuality: "I’d be happy to go and deny it, because I’m not," he says. "But by denying it, I’m saying there is something shameful about it, and there isn’t anything shameful. The questions about sexuality I find more here in America than anywhere else, because it’s a big hang-up and defines what people think about themselves and others. It’s not a big issue in Australia."
- Above you can see an ad for a teen sobriety program that was recently pulled due to complaints. I guess the threat of gay prison rape just doesn't work as a punchline anymore.
- BREAKING NEWS: Allen Ray Andrade has been found guilty of first degree murder and guilty of a bias-motivated crime in the closely-watched trial of the brutal murder of transgendered teen Angie Zapata. The murderer has been sentenced to life without parole.

Hugh Jackman is the man. He has always been a GLBT supporter and all these rumors I am sure are a result of it. Brad Pitt and he have always been voices in pop culture for us and respect their gay fans. What a great things to say though, "its not a shameful thing." I don't think anyone of his caliber has ever said that that way.
And Snicks, the model is a great choice. A very Jay Brannan vibe going on there.

Of course she would never let someone stage a fake birthday party for her a month before she even turned 16 just to kick the fags out of the happiest place on earth.
