Following this assortment of carefully-selected news items, interested readers can find a refreshing pic of a hot man in underwear after the jump. Yes, we're serious.
- The Silver Fox was in Hollywood last night accepting the International Medical Corps Humanitarian Award during the Children Mending Hearts Gala at the House Of Blues. Is it just me, or does the look on his face say "gee, I thought it would be bigger"?
- FAIL!: The Cryptkeeper and his brood of Morlocks have been denied entry into the UK (insert Nelson Munz laugh here).
- People are understandably outraged by the New York Post's lame and offensive Obama/Chimp cartoon, but "artist" Sean Delonas is already infamous to us for his history of lame and offensive gay stereotyping. Gawker.com has a greatest hits collection of some his work. Stay classy, Sean.
No love for Luna?

- With all of the award talk for Milk, here's one you may have missed. Diego Luna has won this year's Lazzie Award for Worst Actor for his performance as Harvey Milk's last boyfriend Jack Lira. Latina.com says watching him "elicited the deepest, most painful cringe we’ve experienced in quite some time". Ouch!
- And finally, there's an article in the New York Times blog titled Is Beyonce the new Willi Ninja? For those who don't know, Willi Ninja was one of the most influential dancer/choreographers of the eighties. The answer to the question "Is Beyonce the new Willi Ninja?" would be a resounding ... no.
And today's Briefs are brought to you by...

Pink Fox..
Snicks, before clicking on the pink-lit head of Anderson Cooper and reading your text here, I thought 'Oh, he finally came out!... '
Anyway, congrats for his Award! Don't think he hoped the award would be bigger. I think he is touched. Cute.
The body of the guy in briefs looks odd... Can't say what it is, but it looks fake..

I think it's just the angle of the photo and lighting.
Makes his face seem much paler than the rest of him (maybe bad makeup?)
Some of his other photos have weird lighting as well.
Also, he's very big on top and no so on bottom (bless him, no hating cuz he's a lovely man) but I think that accounts for the odd lack of symmetry.
This one was alright

oh Anderson
Diego Luna is not that
Denied!
I'm a little disappointed with my government. We weren't always so picky who we let into the country and I was so looking forward to meeting the Phelps. I've been baking all week, I did the floors AND windows, and as long as they smiled a lot and wiped their feet before they came through immigration (pious shit is such a persistent stain), I'm sure we would have had lots to gossip about. I've even spent the last few days approaching all the local dog walkers and offering to relieve them of their little baggies (you know the ones I mean) so I could be there tonight, outside the theatre, ready to give them the welcome they deserve - even though they called Her Majesty a big - well, I'm not going to repeat it in front of you nice people, I'm sure you saw the news reports.
And, AFA? I hope you're taking notes - this country is protected. And enlightened.

Sorry to say
but, while I'm sure there were worse performances, Diego Luna was bad in Milk. In fact, he made me cringe and I thought he was the most noticeable low point in the movie :(
Applauds to the UK for banning those cruel, cowardly creatures.
Diego Luna is a God!
Admittedly I can't be entirely objective. I rode up with him in the elevator at the Beverly Wilshire during the Milk press junket and I shall never get over it.
We don't deserve such beauty.
:)
I loved your comment.
Diego's so tiny and cute!
Digging Luna
Luna had a difficult, unlikeable role in Milk, but he played it well.
Seems like one more case of actors being praised for playing sympathetic characters and slammed for playing unsympathetic ones.
