Except it has a Don't Ask Don't tell policy. 7 states recognized same sex penguins. And in California only certain same sex penguins are legal and most are not.
I'm sure someone on AE will eventually get around to mentioning the death of David Carradine (or did I miss it?). Why should anyone care? David played father to Chris (QAF) Potter for five years on "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues." He was part of a versatile acting family: Keith and Robert have both played gay, and their father, John, was featured in several of the campiest movies ever made (he delived the "It won't grow back" line in "Myra Breckenridge," and his participation in "Billy the Kid versus Dracula" needs no further comment). The story on David's death is that he died while performing auto-erotic asphyxiation. If so, that's a shame. I lived in Bangkok, where Carradine died, for two years, and I know from experience that that's where the stars go to get kinky. David Carradine was a unique presence on the screen, and he'll be missed.

Gay Penguins: I love the penguin couple taking care of baby
So adorable! The penguin couple are raising a baby from an abandoned egg. How selfless!
And apparently, this penguin couple is "one of three same-sex pairs among the zoo's 20 Humboldt penguins that have attempted to mate."
And "the zoo said in a statement on its website that "sex and coupling in our world don't always have something to do with reproduction.""
Plus, NPH rules! :)
Maggie Gallagher
