Thank you for being an arkadas: The Golden Girls is headed to Turkey! A remake of the classic series is set to air on Turkish television, with Hulya Kocyigit as Dorothy, Nevra Serezli as Blanche, Fatma Girik as Sophia and Turkan Soray as Rose. Is anyone else looking as forward to this as much as I am? I just hope it's from the same people who made Turkish Star Wars or Turkish Wizard Of Oz or Turkish Exorcist. Oh, or Turkish Superman.
The Washington State Legislature passed a domestic partner bill today, granting same-sex couples the same rights and benefits of married couples, but the wolves are already out to tear it apart.

Greetings, I'm from Turkiye and new here but I couldnt stop being a member of this site after saw this one. True that we have a bad reputation about doing justice to a film/tv series version, but this time I'm hopeful, cause all of the names you mentioned are really talented and respected actresses of Turkiye.
Btw this site is great, since I first find this site I'm visiting here often.Sending love to everyone, from Turkiye.
...worked on the Turkish version of Sabrina the Teenage Witch! (I've also heard that the unfortunately short-lived 80s prime-time soap Flamingo Road was a huge success in Turkey.)
And if none of you have ever been to Turkey, I say, go, go, GO!!! I plan to go back someday, cuz I didn't even make it out of Istanbul, which is, hands down, unquestionably, the most breathtakingly gorgeous city I've ever been to. I was there for 6 days, and still didn't see it all. And the men, sigh...pant...are HOT!!!
My eyes hurt looking at Rupert, and he WAS GORGEOUS with the wrinkles and all!!! It hurt so much, I had to see the interview because I thought the picture was probably a bad photoshop job on top of the surgies, but UHHHHHHHHH...
Go to Martha Stewart's website and search for "Spring Bulb Arrangement", then -->Video (it's the first one in the list and what they made while he was on the show) to see what he really looks like without any photoshop brush-ups. It's worse than I thought! What was he thinking?! He turned a perfectly wonderful silver fox into a creepy elastic THING! Here's hoping he looks sexy again in another 10 years.
Dear God....
What a shame
Susan Boyle
