• The super-fabulous Grace Jones performed at The Roundhouse in England last night, kicking off a tour in support of her first album in twenty years, Hurricane. The sixty year old diva is still just as vital as she was when I was a wee lad, when my performance of "pull up to the bumper in your long black limousine" sent my Sunday school teachers into seizures of horror.

• Speaking of icons, for some inexplicable reason some gays are claiming newswoman Andrea Mitchell deserves icon status. Personally I don't get it (she seems a little cold and off-putting to me) but to each gay his own icon, I guess.

• If you're in the L.A. area next week, out Milk screenwriter (and hopefully Oscar winner) Dustin Lance Black will be signing copies of the official screenplay book on February 2nd at 7PM at Book Soup on Sunset Blvd.

• I know David Beckham is the epitome of male beauty (allegedly), but he's not a piece of meat! Unfortunately, that didn't stop his new Italian teammates from rubbing his bottom for good luck. Insert your own joke.

• And finally, we all knew that the name saddleback was just too giggle-worthy not to garner snarky attention, and gay columnist Dan Savage came up with the perfect way to pay tribute to the church of anti-gay pastor Rick Warren. He proposed a contest to give the word a new meaning, and after the world voted, we have a winner! We know you're dying to find out, so here is the NSFW new definition of "saddlebacking".
