  • Did we mention how much we admire some beauty queens?
  • Popwatch.ew.com has issued a plea to American Idol host Ryan Seacrest to "please end the gay-baiting banter!"
  • UK radio host Jonathan Ross is "mortified" he's being accused of homophobia after he told his listening audience "If your son asks for a Hannah Montana MP3 player, you might want to already think about putting him down for adoption before he brings his… erm… partner home."
  • Above you can see a promo for the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards, in which proud parents Jack Black and Michael Cera explain how their adorkable son (and show host) Andy Samberg was born.
  • Finally, Representatives Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Barney Frank (D-MA) and Jared Polis (D-CO) have introduced a resolution in the House of Representatives to recognize the 40th anniversary of Stonewall. The movement began on June 28th, 1969.

    Oh man, that's hysterical. Having a hard time breathing right now. So awesome. 

    And it's bizarre, but... Andy Samberg really does look like he could be their son. o_0

    he has always annoyed me. i feel like he tries way too hard to be funny.

    with that said, the joke about simon and heels isn't surprising to me and i'll be amazed if the gay baiting 'teasing' stops because hey...being gay, or a crossdresser or whatever is so damn hilarious, even though, as the article states...kids are killing themselves for that exact reason. (assumption that they are gay, etc...)

    but then again, i'm so worn out from this Miss. Ca stuff, so i am gonna do a Carrie and say it's ryan's freedom of speech and it should not be violated.

    i am hoping to make a point with that.

    40th Anniversary of Stonewall

    It is admirable that they are trying to get some recognition for the 40th Anniversary of Stonewall, considering what an impact it has had upon the world. It would be nice if schools taught the significance of the event so GLBT and allied students could better understand how much the world has changed since the summer of '69 - for example, teach them Pride in many European countries is also called CSD, Christopher Street Day, after the street on which Stonewall took place.

    I am so pissed. Perez, PEREZ OF ALL PEOPLE, was trying to be cryptic and discrete and not say anything about Glambert. But Ryan kept pushing him, provoking him with statements about him going soft, and wouldn't relent until Perez said Adam is gay on the air.
