Attention "Hollyoaks" fans! We've got spoilers, and you won't believe the insanity!
Oh, for the love of Kieron! The spoilers are out for John Paul's big return on Hollyoaks, and it looks just as wonderfully over-the-top as all of us were hoping. I'd put it right up there with Dynasty's "Moldavian Massacre" and Marcia Cross blowing up Melrose Place. (Although it doesn't come close to Fallon's alien abduction on The Colbys or Marlena's satanic possession on Days of our Lives. But it does top Delia's kidnapping by a horny gorilla on Ryan's Hope and the unearthing of the ancient magical city Eterna on One Life To Live.) On the other hand, it's not as memorable as the Casadines and their evil weather machine on General Hospital, or Bobby in the shower on Dallas, but it's certainly not as far-fetched as the current As The World Turns story about two gay guys who aren't allowed to have sex. That one's just nutty. But I digress ... the Hollyoaks story involves the unraveling of Niall, and if you want to see how awesome TPTB have made this, then join me after the break for the spoilers and a ton of pics. Special thanks to dkellergrl2001 for the info! *Btw, if you comment, PLEASE don't include spoilers in your comment header! Okay, here we go. According to these spoilers:
As Niall's life begins to spiral out of control he decides to get the ultimate revenge on the family. After kidnapping the McQueen sisters one by one he takes them to St Eustace Church, the same church that Myra left him as a baby. He then leaves baby Max on Myra's doorstep with a note just like the one she left with him, ringing alarms bells in Myra. Racing to the abandoned church, Myra is shocked to discover that Niall is her son, and all of her daughters are tied up and gagged! Niall then reveals that he has kidnapped John Paul too! Niall reveals that he's rigged the place with explosives and tells Myra he's going to blow everyone to smithereens. When she protests, he gives her the option of saving some of her children. He'll ask her 6 questions - one for every child. For everyone she gets wrong, he'll kill someone. He asks her questions that she would never know the answer to - questions about his childhood. When she starts to answer wrongly, things begin to look extremely bleak for her and her beloved children. Completely by chance she gets two questions right and begins to decide which of her children she should save and which should die!
What will Myra decide? And who will live, and who will die? And where is Craig in all of this? While we impatiently wait to find out, enjoy these pics, and discuss!

Wow!
Wow big storyline! I bet no-one actually dies though, they'll all get saved at the last minute* - seems like the show's had its fill of deaths for now! Still, pretty exciting either way.
*Though now I've said that, I'm doomed to be wrong
Soap Storyline Magazines
It's been confirmed...
One of the McQueen girls definetely dies as confirmed by Hollyoaks. So... who do we think it'll be?
Also, Craig is not in these episodes but I really hope John Paul is in the Late Night Specials, or it's just simply inconsistent!
John Paul is not in the Late
Guy Burnet had a different explanation
I've read from Guy Burnet that he and James were asked to be in the late night show but they didn't like the story like that was proposed for their characters.
It's now a Craig story line where he rescues one of his sisters (Steph or Debbie).
"Initially, these episodes were supposed to be centered on Craig and John Paul, but neither James Sutton (John Paul) nor I were happy with the ideas," he confesses. "The producers came back and said they still wanted to use me though, so now we have a storyline involving Craig and Steph. that's great for me because it shifts the focus to a new development for Craig.
"Who knows whether I'll return to Hollyoaks some time in the future," adds Guy. "I think this brings the whole Craig and John Paul story to an end really nicely, so we can all move on."
Really Funny
I read the same thing, Allyndra. James has posted on his official forum that he's not participating in the LNHO. Guy has stated it twice (in a soap magazine AND his website) that James decided to not participate in the LNHO and in a backstage interview with Kris Green from Digital Spy, Barry Sloane mentioned all the actors that are participating in his part of the LNHO and James' name wasn't mention.
I'm just glad that James decided to be apart of the McQueen/Niall reveal, because it would have saddened me to see that storyline concluded WITHOUT John-Paul being apart of it.

love it
wow - the explosion-picture with Carmel in it is really impressive. Bring on the fun!
Question: why is JP dressed as a 12 year-old?
Also I'm quite puzzled why only JP is gagged. According to everything I know about the McQueens I would have expected it sort of the other way round.
And here's another small treat while waiting for the explosion. A nice little interview with Jake Hendriks and Barry Sloane at the inside soap awards. Talking about Hendrik's exit scene (mostly vomit) and end of career (doing panto), Sloane trying to grow someting that looks remotely like a beard, LNHO (they actually manage not to give the plot away but somehow bring Kate Bush into it). Funny as usual but sadly no James Sutton anywhere to be seen
Danke, Lily
Lily - I loved the Barry and Jake interview. LOVED IT.
Jake smelling the beer. The whole Panto rant and the Kate Bush thing was hysterical. Well, Jake told Barry "NO" in not giving anything away about the LNHO.

Love me less, but love me a long time - Les Chansons D'Amour

Yeah - but after looking up the actual plot of wuthering heights (sorry, gap in education there) I
finally got the jokerealized Barry quite mischievously made way for some nice speculation.Interview with Jake and Barry is great!
Jake and Barry had a great give-and-take in that interview; kind of too bad that we didn't get to see that on the show. And Barry is knock-down gorgeous with his hair filling out and beard, and his personality is so different from Niall--funny, he made me think of Robert Shaw a little bit!

Jake and Barry interview
Have not much to say, but thank you Lily!! That was fun! And Jake is a sweetheart! Why did they have Kieron killed.. *ggrrr*

JP's jacket?
I'm hoping he borrowed that ugly thing from Craig. I've always thought JP had better style. Ok, he did have that bizarre green and yellow striped hoodie but he looked cute sorta like a bumblebee.
"the fallacy of the talking killer"
oh - I hope so too. And if
oh - I hope so too. And if there's any logic in it he will, because it wouldn't be much fun (for him) if they died as planned not knowing everything, would it? (trying hard to think like a psychopath)
A problem might be that he already has told someone everything - so that would be a repeat.
And I'm not sure if they will dive into the whole JP/K thing again. One would expect Niall to rub into JP's face that Kieron actually was begging for JP's life when he was dying while he himself was happily shagging Craig. But this would reopen some already answered questions (guilt etc) - so I rather guess they will tone that down a bit. JP's just back for 2 episodes after all.
Something (could it be the

They tend to give away far too much in advance.
So - there won't be Kieron reappearing as a ghost, pointing towards Niall and exclaiming dramatically in Jake Hendriks best "panto"-voice: "IT WAS YOUHHH NIALL MATTHEW RAFFERTY MCQUEEN!" ?
*sigh* what a shame - there goes another fantasy.
snicks, you is scary
I can't believe that I remember every one of those soap events that you reeled off in such eerie yet loveable OCD fashion at the top of the article...well, I forgot Delia and the gorilla until you mentioned it.
I don't know if I'm more intrigued that there's someone else as weird as me, or more concerned that there's two people as weird as we.
The blog isn't weird; it's just written that way.

The 23-year-old, who plays Spike, first appeared in the Chester-based soap in March last year as a plot device when he became involved with John Paul McQueen (James Sutton).
After a brief fling, John Paul embarked on a relationship with best friend Craig Dean (Guy Burnet), leaving Spike high and dry without revealing the truth to him.
The pair remained friends, but when Spike rumbled John Paul and Craig's affair, John Paul persuaded him to keep quiet. Following the exposure of 'McDean' to the rest of the village, Spike has neither been seen nor mentioned in scripts.
Since his departure, DS forum members have campaigned for his return.
A spokeswoman today confirmed: "Tom is back for just a few episodes at this stage. We know he's a real favourite with Digital Spy, so watch this space to see if his return becomes more permanent."
A source added: "He's back for some scenes in which there's a gay night being at The Dog."
That's great! I really liked
