Attention Floridians! Time is running out to register, and Sarah has a message!

No, not Sarah Palin (she's too busy not judging her many gay friends, and their "choice"), we're talking about the fabulous Sarah Silverman.

The last day to register to vote in Florida is this coming Monday, October 6th, and since Florida has a huge queer population, we just wanted to gently remind all of our fair weather brethren that the Sunshine State will be crucial in this upcoming election. If you haven't registered yet, please do so. You can find more information HERE.

Of course, we would never tell you who you should vote for ... so we'll let Sarah do it for us!

In The Great Schlep, Sarah "aims to have Jewish grandchildren visit their grandparents in Florida, educate them about Obama, and therefore swing the crucial Florida vote in his favor."

    Amendment 2 is up for vote which would make gay marriage and any equivalent illegal in the state.  California has gotten all of the attention, but the Florida amendment is much more damaging.  Not only does it seek to outlaw gay marriage, but things like civil unions and domestic partnerships as well.  It's a spiteful concoction from the right which needs to be put down like a rabid dog.

    Even if you have to CALL IN SICK, you MUST register to vote on Monday, Oct. 6, if you are not already registered!  Or else you don't get to vote in November.

     We must ALL vote in Nov. for Obama or we will have such a rightwing Supreme Court that they can and WILL start taking our civil rights away!
