Salon.com has released their annual response to the People Magazine Sexiest Man issue. With choices such as Idris Elba and Dan Choi, the "Sexiest Men Living" are a very eclectic bunch.
Filmmaker Lou Ye (AP Photo/Kin Cheung)
Chinese director Lou Ye was banned from making films for five years after he screened a film at Cannes without his government's approval, but he secretly defied the ban, filming his gay love story Spring Fever last year. He entered it at Cannes, where it won best screenplay, and it's now secured U.S. distribution.
Our favorite soap oracle Nelson Branco is reporting that As the World Turns will almost certainly be renewed for one more year. Oh, and he gives us a shoutout! Thanks Nelson!
Who the hell is that in the top left corner?
In tragic news, it appears that the much-anticipated Saved By the Bell reunion will not be happening.
Above you can see a digital short from Saturday Night Live that aired over the weekend. It features Andy Samberg as himself and Kenan Thompson as ... Reba Mcentire? What do you think of the "twist" ending?
Above you can see Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka attend the 2009 CNN Hero Awards, which filmed over the weekend and will air Thanksgiving on, well, CNN.
Above you can see out actor Rex Lee about the behind-the-scenes racial and gay jokes he's had to endure on the set of Entourage. Series creator Doug Ellin told TMZ he was shocked and horrified and would speak to everyone before the new season begins filming.
Is Boy George a glutton for punishment? No sooner does he leave a prison stint than he decides to accept an invitation to appear on the next installment of the UK's Celebrity Big Brother.

True Blood star Alexander Skarsgard is getting our hopes high for the third season of the HBO show. He tells Radaronline "There's a lot of nudity," he said. "As far as Eric goes, there's going to be a lot violence and a lot of sex - with women and men! So it should be interesting."
And here is your sports pics of the week!
And now the work week begins! We're so so sorry...
I got to see Alan Ball give a talk about True Blood recently and when someone in the audience asked what would happen next season, he jokingly said that everyone would be naked all the time and that Bill and Eric would have sex (there were some other ones too that I can't remember). It's too bad because that version of the show sounded really awesome (although what Alexander Skarsgard is talking about sounds pretty fun too).
I tuned into SNL this week in hopes that Tina Fey would be back to lampoon Sarah Palin's media circus and, instead, got treated to two sketches (the one that's posted and the opening sketch lampooning Obama and the President of China) that I found revolting. It's not enough for SNL to be completely unfunny, now they have to be offensive too.
They assume their audience is full of bigots, homophobes, and brain dead frat boys. The show is very cynical and very lazy. Week in and week out they manage to humiliate themselves. I don't know why it even gets coverage. I'm surprised more here didn't comment on the homophobia in the January Jones episode.
sometimes I cath it while zaping its always at a time nothng better is one so i watch a bit. must of the times I find the humor to basic for my taste, sometimes it even makes me feel ackward its just so tastless.
but I'm not american so I always get the feeling maybe thas why I'm not catching some of the jokes.but there still lame jokes

I quit watching Entourage after the offensive transsexual episode. That and the locker room humor toward Rex Lee's character grew tiresome rather quickly.
I've never understood how that show manages to continue to exist let alone rack up awards and nominations. Maybe it's because I'm not a frat boy and I don't want to bang every woman I see but every week I watched, I wondered why. Or maybe it's just Jeremy Piven's vacuous acting that seems to consume the series and all things around it that is just impossible to see beyond. Seeing the TMZ clip with Lee, it's not surprising that type of writing can breed that type of behavior behind the scenes.
These are their heroes. To laud them, and to get to do some in some guise of being "edgy" or "incisive", they will never stop. That's why trash like this goes on and on. And that's why other shows that celebrate the pain of the straight white bigot, like Rescue Me, are fawned over.
well with all the sex going on on the show its really ridiculus and unfair not seeing gourgeus eric/alex getting his fair share. He needs to get himself some urgently!
The guy in the top left corner is Max; he was the owner/manager of the fast-food joint where all the kids hung out. He was also a magician. I think he was pretty much a regular character for one season before disappearing.
...Not that I'm admitting to having watched the show enough to know all these things.
Don’t worry I knew that too – aww, childhood memories.
And I was about to say that Ed Alonzo is NPH best friend and is a professional magician now (worked with Britney & MJ). Here are 2 clips with Ed and Neil – one from this year’s magic awards and one from ages ago.
Wow, there are some really idiotic and bigoted comments on the TMZ site about Rex Lee's comments(and I think some are coming from gays)--I've never really gone on that site before.
If what Alexander Skarsgard is saying pans out, we might finally have some hot male same-sex vampire action of our own on cable. That and more hot male nudity would make "True Blood" even more enjoybale than it already is.
