  • Just a reminder that we're taking Monday (President's Day) off, but we will be around to liveblog the soapy goodness on One Life To Live.
  • We discussed the rumors a while back, and now the Spurf at Entertainment Weekly has confirmed it. Oscar winner Kate Winslet will star in a five-hour HBO mini-series remake of Mildred Pierce, to be directed by out Todd Haynes. I think we've hit the gay motherlode.
  • BBC America has announced that they'll be airing the second and third seasons of Being Human starting this summer. You can see a sneak peek of the second season opener below.

  • A couple of tibits from GLAAD: They want you to twitter your disapproval to John Mayer for his use of the "F" word in that Playboy article.
  • GLAAD also has a mini-review of Valentine's Day that's pretty much a rave. They also take snipes at "various outlets" and "other blogs" that have had less charitable things to say about the film. Who could they be talking about?

  • Ryan Reynolds has signed on to be the face of the new Hugo Boss fragrance "Boss". So what does that have to do with the above shirtless Ryan pic? Nothing.
  • Another week, another gay bookstore in trouble. This time it's Gay's The Word in the UK, who are facing a massive rent increase.
