• Apropos of nothing, above you can see ruggers Will Matthews, Nils Mordt, Don Waulduck and Delon Armitage presenting the "Rugby's Finest" calendar in London.

• When a lesbian student at a high school in Alabama asked to bring her girlfriend to the prom, the school said no, and when the ACLU decided to intervene ... the school canceled the entire prom. After an uproar, the prom may be back on, but there's still no word whether the student can bring her girlfriend.

• Gay reporter sprite Michael Ausiello (and contrary to another blogger's bizarre assertion, Ausiello is a sprite, and NOT A SMURF) has confirmed that Dollhouse has officially been canceled, along with something on ABC called Hank. It now seems likely that Ugly Betty will move to the 8 PM timeslot on Wednesday nights (and the sooner the better).

• The sequel to Twilight isn't even out yet, but above you can see Robert Pattinson talking about his dream director for the Next sequel. His choice? Gus Van Sant.

• Russell T. Davies has more-or-less confirmed that there will be a fourth season of Torchwood.

• Happy birthday to out Will & Grace creator Max Mutchnik,who turns 44 today, and out fashion guru Carson Kressley, who turns 40.

• Why am I delighted over word that there may be a sequel to the video game Bully? Because it gives me another chance to post the above video of the first game's hero Jimmy macking on another student. It never fails to give me a hearty laugh.

• Former ER hunk Goran Visnjic has joined the cast of Beginners, where he'll play the younger boyfriend of Christopher Plummer's character.

• AE reader JG has created a fantastic web site dedicated to One Life To Live heartthrob Brett Claywell.

• Finally, speaking of Brett, there is a major spoiler in the forums about what's coming up in the relationship of Kyle and Oliver, but look at your own risk!
