Bryan Fuller set to return to "Heroes" ... but is it too late?
Out writer/producer Bryan Fuller isn't letting the imminent demise of Pushing Daisies slow him down, as he's close to inking a deal with Universal Media Studios. The two-year deal will allow him to develop his own series, while also bringing him back to help resuscitate the carcass of NBC's Heroes: Fuller, who is wrapping postproduction on the final episodes of "Daisies" 13-episode second-season order, is expected to officially come on board "Heroes" starting with Episode 20. His exact role on the sci-fi drama has not been determined, but he is expected to play a key role in the writers room alongside "Heroes" creator/executive producer/showrunner Tim Kring. If Heroes survives another season, Bryan may stay with it, or move on to another Universal show, but will still be allowed to develop his own series. I just hope he doesn't let the ratings failure of Pushing Daisies, as well as the short-lived Dead Like Me and Wonderfalls snuff out the Bryan Fuller "quirk" factor that we've come to know and love. I'm still totally ticked
I'm still totally ticked off about the demise of "Daisies," particularly since the last episode is rumoured to end in a huge cliffhanger. I don't see why ABC couldn't greenlight just one or two further episodes, to satisfactorily wrap up all the storylines. A sense of closure in the last episodes would greatly enhance later DVD sales, I would think...
I'm like a superhero, with no powers or motivation...
Possible closure
I read somewhere that Bryan Fuller is planning on continuing "Pushing Daisies" in comic book form, so maybe we won't be left hanging forever. It won't be the same, but at least we'll find out what happens...

Bryan Fuller and Heroes
Is it too late for him to reverse the quality decline? I dunno, but it's definitely too late for him to bring me back. I'm done with Heroes.
I'm REALLY looking forward to the return of BSG and Lost. Right now the only shows getting any talk time are Sarah Connor, Heroes, and True Blood, all of which I dropped this season. It will be nice for people to be talking about shows I actually watch and like.
Well, people talk about Brothers & Sisters, but what they SAY about it....
I'm so sick of grown-up men
Heroes and Daisies
Your bitter. We get it.
Heroes was novel and highly entertaining in its first year. In my estimation it crashed badly with the finale. The show has never recovered its footing. I keep watching (via Hulu) out of spite to see how much worse it can get.
I watched the Daisies pilot and it was too candy colored and bizarre for its own sake for me to continue with. I am surprised it found sufficient audience to make it to a second season. It never had a chance in hell of pulling in an audience large enough to sustain itself on network TV.
Dasies and Heros
Duckiestory, I encourage you to get Pushing Dasies on DVD. Very true, it is an acquired taste, but once it clicks you can't get enough. It is an adult fairy tale that is one of the most original series ever. No other show has given me the sheer feeling of joy from beginning to end as Dasies. Escaping into their world is a highlight of any busy week. And anyone who isn't in love with Lee Pace...well you're not human! It is truly sad this excellent show is being cancelled. I wish HEROS good luck in getting back an amazing talent in Bryan Fuller and hope (for its fans) he can get it back on track.
just sad
it is sad that dead like me, wonderfalls, Pushing daisies were excellent shows that were never able to appeal to enough viewers. And more sad is the fact that there doesn't seem to be any network air time secure for shows like them...
Cant wait for is next project... and may he save Heroes from complete and UTTER bordom (if thats a word, I dont know i'm not english)

Heroes
I have to admit i am an avid Bryan FUller fan, i've watched all of Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls and now Pushing Dasies and I really do think that this man is just to clever for most of the public to "get" his shows. It took my housemate Chris 4 episodes before he "got" pushing daisies. I've heard that he was behind most of Claire's early story lines in season 1 of heroe's and really i think that shows. Claire is definately one of my favourite characters in the show and i loved how her very early story kinda mirrored coming out (right down to the gay best friend who ok, disapeared - actually is there a gay character on heroe's yet because i've not seen any of season 3)
I just hope that whatever show he gets to do next will be given the right treatment and is promoted in a good way. I really want this guy to get a good 7 season show because i think the best is still to come!!
James
No gays on Heroes
No, there is no gay character on Heroes. Claire's first season friend Zach (Thomas Dekker) was as close as we've gotten to date.
Heroes
First of all I hate Syler. Can't stand him, don't think he's a good villain and never did.
Also I've noticed that they've gotten rid of all the black characters on the show except for the Haitian who's hardly on the show anyway.
They never added a gay character. I guess gay people don't have superpowers.
