"Clara Sheller" video clip update #2: Hit the showers!
In part one of the French show Clara Sheller, we met Clara and her gay BFF, Jean-Philippe, who is in the closet at work and with his family. In this new clip, J.P. has been assigned to look after his boss's wayward son, Herve. Everyone is convinced that Herve is gay, and after enough circumstantial evidence, J.P. is convinced as well, and he's finally comfortable enough to come out to the young man. That's when Herve makes his own startling confession... What I love about this clip (aside from a brief butt shot, which makes it mildly NSFW), is that it's another UK show (like Hollyoaks) that isn't afraid to mix heavy drama with goofy sitcom "misunderstandings", which is something they rarely attempt on U.S. shows, for fear of alienating part of the audience. Perhaps with the success of hourlong dramedies like Ugly Betty, Pushing Daisies and Desperate Housewives we'll see more of this mixing of tone down the line. I just quasi-skimmed some of the clip because I don't have the time right now but I didn't see Jean-Philippe actually come out of the closet to Herve and the only revelation I saw was that Herve had a nipple piercing.
Is that it? So still no confirmation of whether or not Herve is actually gay? No coming out? Or did I miss one pivotal 20 seconds even though I'm pretty sure I got it all (I just skimmed some of the dancing)?

It is weird how pale the video looks, it must have lost its colors being transfered from a DVD to Dailymotion ! I know it's just a detail, but it bugs me because the show is so colorful (literally ^^).

I haven't seen the full version of either show, but just based on this youtube video the actors in the German version (Verrückt nach Clara/Crazy for Clara; only got one season though) are much hotter (and get some action too):
