It's never a good sign when a couple tries to salvage their relationship by having a child, and unfortunately for J.P., his cute-but-unhinged pseudo-boyfriend Brad shows up with a puppy and big plans about the two of them raising it together.

J.P. blows up and tells Brad that they have no future together, which leads to a faux suicide attempt (which we all saw coming) and Brad's exit. But is he gone for good?

Meanwhile, Clara has decided to tell Gilles she's not really pregnant, but when she chickens out, fate intervenes and gives her a push. Take a look, and thanks to ZTube31 for the translations.

Will a heartbroken Gilles seek solace in the arms of J.P.? Hopefully yes, and if there's nudity involved, so be it. I'm really warming up to the new Gilles, and frankly, he's much too good for Clara and her self absorption.

We're far enough into the new season to hand out some grades. I was wary about the total recast, but now that the actors have had a chance to redefine their characters, I'm giving the new cast a solid B. Gilles and J.P. have made the smoothest transition, and I'm pretty sure the Clara character would be the same no matter who was playing her.
