Craig returning to "Hollyoaks", earlier than expected
Last week, I blogged about the character of Craig (played by Guy Burnet) returning to Hollyoaks for a limited late night series, and wondering if he would get the chance to interact with John Paul. Well, now comes confirmation that he will actually be returning before then, to stir up trouble for J.P. and Kieron: "With his heart set on rekindling his romance with John Paul (James Sutton), Craig makes a shocking return just as the dust settles in the wake of John Paul's relationship with Father Kieron Hobbs (Jake Hendriks) being exposed to the village." When asked why the decision was made to bring Craig back, producer Bryan Kirkwood has this to say: "The Craig and John Paul story is one of the biggest and most successful that Hollyoaks has told, winning many awards and legions of fans. I'm delighted that Guy has agreed to come back and excited to see how viewers will react to what we have in store." Actually, Craig might not have had to worry about Kieron, as plans were originally to have the character of Niall kill him off to get back at J.P.'s family. Thanks to a massive fan petition, though, the decision was made to keep him on (Thanks to AE reader bunchoflemons for that info). Although, according to this article, his fate is still up in the air (thanks to AE reader MJ for the link). Guy returns for filming next month, with his first appearance starting in September. Could we really be about to see a gay triangle? One that actually includes gay men, and not green cards, sham marriages, and celibacy? Submitted by on Tue, 2008-06-10 07:49. |

Noooo...Stay away Craig! Stay away!
My love for JP's story (all of it) is second only to Ollian on VL. I watched the Hollyoaks episodes online religiously (*swoon* Father Hottie thoughts)...I also did a full refresher at a really good JP/Craig YouTube playlist. I like the character of Craig a lot...I think he has a lot of issues and he's very interesting....but I like Father Hottie a lot more. I call him Father Hottie...but it's more than the fact that I think he is attractive. He's really a good character. I'm not religious...at all. I think him dealing with his desire for a relationship and his "calling" are griping. He's not confused about his sexuality. He knows he is gay. He's 100% clear about the fact that he is a gay priest. My knowledge of religion is very basic and in my simple formula I wonder why a gay Catholic priest just doesn't step down to a religion that is more accepting...he's still doing God's work. It's like Catholic is the major league and because he can't play there why not step down tot he minors...like UCC or some other accepting church. Or would that be bush league?
Craig's issues annoyed me right up to the very end. I'm sure he's had some time to think on things and maybe he's come to terms with his sexuality...but that boat has sailed. Father Hobbs is soooooo much better for him.
UGH on Craig's return. Too much the whiney bitch!
JP's future choice .... Kieron or Craig
Not all that bad
Dannydc, I respect your right to have your own opinion on the, indeed very flawed, character of Craig, but there are a few things about the actor that plays him that I wanted to correct
Guy Burnet appeared in several gay mags and stated clearly that he wouldn't mind playing a gay character months before John Paul even appeared on the scene and almost a year before his own character "turned gay". He even joked that "it must be him" that the writers always wanted to make Craig gay. He talked about people often thinking he is gay & addressed the fact that this made him question his sexuality in his teenage years but that that was dealt with and in the past. Combine that with the tenderness seen in some of the intimate scenes between Craig and John Paul, the real kissing between them (noone can beat Olli and Christian but it's a real contrast to the fake kissing we often see between Kieron and John Paul) and you could hardly say we are confronted with a homophobe here. He was honest about being uncomfortable doing these scenes. Perhaps not the most professional thing to say but then again not really surprising coming from a straight guy. I think people should finally let go of this idea that Guy Burnet is homophobic.
About being in demand: if you read the goodbye interview Guy did for Digital Spy you'll see he didn't have any illusions about that. His reason for leaving the show was that he'd been working on it since age 18 and wanted to do other things. Live in Mexico, travel to Japan, surf all over Europe (which he did). Hollyoaks makes five episode a week - these people have an awful schedule - he needed a break.
When he left the show, the producers were so "gutted" that he was leaving, they deliberately left the story open for him to return at any time he wanted. Guy specifically stated he would have loved to see a sunset ending, but that this would only be possible if James left the show, which wasn't going to happen for another year, and he also stated that he would have loved to do some Ferris Bueller's Day Off type of Late Nighter, which was also impossible at the time because the late nighters had been canceled. Now, after the immense success of the show (increased ratings and many prizes), partly due to Guy and James' success, there are going to be late nighters and Guy gets asked back to do exactly those two things he expressed an interest in a year ago. That's hardly "tail between legs".
On another note: a short film in which Guy acted won first prize in the New York Film Festival last month (or two months ago).
It's Dublin. Craig studies at Trinity in Dublin. If you managed to miss that watching the show, you might also have missed that during the last week Craig did grow a lot. Took responsibility, chose John Paul and tried to to the right thing by Sarah. Too little too late, yes. Incapable of publicly displaying affection for John Paul, yes. Unwilling to call himself gay, which he had every right to, not every man who has sex with a man is gay - even if in Jake's and John Paul's book they are. Irredeemable? I think not. But there's room for disagreement, I amI sure.
I hate the way some of these shows portray all women as either weak or slappers and all of them dependent upon the attention of men. I hate the way some of these shows portray bisexuals as sex-crazy promiscuous sluts. Policemen probably hate the way some of these shows portray policemen and firemen probably hate the way some of these shows portray firemen.
But I like the way Hollyoaks, in less than a year's time, has given us a confident, tattood, witty gay guy (Spike), a sporty but emotional and needing-to-be-loved gay guy (John Paul), a confused, scared, and manipulative possibly-gay guy (Craig), a confident gay guy who is closeted because of his religious calling (Kieron), a rugby-playing overconfident sleezy gay guy (Robin), a white trouser snake gay guy (Jay), a cute but campy, over the top stalker gay guy (Toby) as well as a crossdressing bisexual guy (Kris). And not one of them the stereotypical effeminate accent, floppy hands, too much fake tan, too bright pink tie gay guy one usually sees on soaps. How is that for diversity?
GOOD FOR YOU and good for them. Neither would I. But that doesn't make me love John Paul any less. James Sutton is just too cute...
Yes Yes Yes to everything
Love triangle
I'm excited to see how things play out, but given John Paul's evolution as a character, I really can't see him going back to Craig. I hope the writers agree.
If Craig comes back wanting JP though, it's going to be quite interesting to see how his family handles the situation.
(Btw, if you only follow the clips here on AE or TGoDT, you might have missed an incident last week that was Kieron-specific, sans JP: Ste stole Kieron's wallet and before returning it, discovered that Kieron carries condoms. I'm wondering just how long until the big reveal, based on that.)
The condom in Kieron's wallet
I saw that episode. I too think that plays into Kieron being outed as a gay priest in a relationship. How that leads to it? Who knows. There could be any number of reasons he has a condom in his wallet.
I am soooo not a fan of Ste. Look...when you walk in the door and your girl is jumping up and down because they have real butter to put on toast...you've failed as a provider. Just saying.
I don't think they want Ste to have fans
Team McPriest here, all the way!
I also would much prefer JP choose Kieron over the loathesome Craig (and my reaction to Guy's frequently mentioned discomfort with playing gay is a part of my preference). I won't mind if JP agonizes about his choice; that would be realistic.
I can't really see that it will turn out as I want, however, given the fan fanaticism for the absurd "Sunset Ending" that they have be blathering on about for the past year.
I would think the resolution will actually depend on whether James (JP) is leaving the show. We know that Guy's tenure will only be for a short period. Has anyone heard one way or another if James is staying?
I thought Guy was back for good?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding. I thought they were saying that Guy is back...as far as everybody knows it's for good. His involvement for the late night special is a limited thing...but he's back on the show with no date set for leaving.
Cakefan...how do your ratings work?
Hi Cakefan...I was wondering if you could clue me in on how your ratings work. For example...see this post I just replied to? You gave it a one star. It's a really a question...is Guy on long term or short term...anybody know?
Now...does your one star mean you know the answer and I'm incorrect...Guy is on short term. Or does it mean what 1 star stands for..."This comment is not worth reading". If it's the latter...I'm still confused...why would a question be "Not worth reading"??
It means that the
It means that the information in it is incorrect. Sorry for doing it this way. I wrote a really long comment yesterday with all the correct information (Guy is only back for a short stint on regular Hollyoaks and the main reason is James Sutton's exit from the show - which is expected to be confirmed in the next few weeks) and then some more, but the site wouldn't let me post it for some reason. I got annoyed and just rated it 1 (as opposed to zero because I didn't think you deserved that). You have every right in calling me upon it by the way, so I changed the ratings.
Oh well, I hope the site accepts my comment this time round.... here I go....
Well that changes things...maybe
I guess we'll have to wait a bit to have more offical news. I'm reading a lot of people at fansites talking with "official" word. Guy is back for good. Guy is only back for one month and it's very limited. I'll have to wait to see more from the people actually involved.
However...if he is back for just a short time AND James is leaving the show (how sad) then it's more than likely that they are just gonna kick Father Kieron to the curb and have the guys end up together. If Guy was coming back for an unknown length of time then maybe they'd have him give closure to the JP story and walk a different path.
However (again)...maybe one of the hints that a person dropped has some validity? I read a quote at a site where someone involved said Guy was returning for a sunset ending, but maybe he wasn't actually part of it. They didn't link it to anything so maybe it's a fake quote. That could mean that Craig does bring closure and that JP and Father Kieron ride off into the sunset.
Either way there is one thing that will really annoy me...if it's a love triangle that involves any of then seeing each other behind the others back. That would make them all scumbags especially considering what happened with the JP/Craig/Sarah triangle.
And as for the rating...I could care less what a negative rating looks like...I've already been told by one user that they will rate my stuff zero just because they hate me. I just wish more people would become involved and explain why they gave it a bad rating...or at least offer an opinion.
According to Guy Burnet
According to Guy Burnet himself it's going to be a "brief return" (Source: http://www.guyburnetfans.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=316) and so I, too, think it's going to be sort of a sunset ending with John Paul, which is what he hints at, although he does say "I would also want it to be a good story and maybe somewhat unexpected". I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
If it's JP and Craig, though, I do hope they keep Kieron around.
Honestly.....
Calling Father Hobbs closeted is limiting the situation
1st...the guys involved in the JP story are all emotional. Kieron is a very sensitive person when it comes to showing his emotions. But in his case it's a good thing. JP is also emotional but then look at his age and what he's gone through...plus look what he was raised with - a house full of emotional women and a mother who encouraged him to be open with his feelings.
2nd...JP as a liar...when you fall in love with a closeted person THAT is what happens. It was a closeted person story. JP and Craig's lying was annoying but fascinating because it was exactly like watching real people...one in total love and the other confused. I mean look...the lying in HO is not nearly as interesting as the lying in ATWT -- taking a fake wife, lying to gov't officials, getting a well known town pussy hound to lie about being gay...I mean...that stuff is fantastic, right?
3rd...comparing Kieron to Craig is way too easy. It's similar yet totally different. Father Hobbs is a gay man who felt he had a calling in the church. He's aware of the decision he made and the vow he took. Then JP entered his life. To limit it to some closet case storyline is crazy. Plus, it IS in character for JP to fall for a guy with limitations. He's a character that could exist in my circle of friends...I have friends who always date the same kinds of guys.
As lovely as Jake Hendriks
As lovely as Jake Hendriks is as a person, I'd rather they just brought back Spike and be done with it. At least with Spike, they were both out, gay men and not some secret affair. That said, this is a soap, and they're still handling John Paul/Kieron better than they did with the incest storyline.
I didn't like Craig, but I'll pass judgement on his return when I see it. My main worry is that Sarah will make it all about her again.
Sarah
Sorry to have to remind you but it kinda was a lot about Sarah. I love John Paul to death, but what John Paul ended up doing to Sarah over that period of time was devastating --- a real friend wouldn't have carried on. She had every right to take the fit that she did (and omg was it a good fit, I could watch the Aftermath clips over and over), but I agree with you in hoping that she has gotten over it and can let Craig be stupid Craig without becoming involved with JP/Craig/Kieron... Can't wait for that triangle to take flight!!!
Hah...Priesty is having an
Hah...Priesty is having an affair with teenager. Totally against the church, and people think that Craig was worse? I hate to break it to all of you, but Craig is gonna win. You wanna know why? Because Craig is the only guy that John Paul truly loves. Think back to when John Paul first came out to Craig. 'I'm in love with you!' And then think back to when we find out about his love for Kieron. 'I think I love him.' Major difference there, the writers have been giving us clues right from the start. And why would Guy Burnet be coming back only to have the same ending that happened last year with John Paul and Craig not being together? I'm sorry but I think you McHobb shippers should give it up now, it will save a lot of heartbreak later.
Craig will come back a more mature character, more confident in his sexuality, whatever it may be, and intent on winning John Paul back. He's had a whole year to grow up and sort his head out, and when we saw him going up that elevator to go to Dublin we all saw that resolution on his face to do exactly that, when he took a deep breath and stepped off the platform. This love story definitely did not end last year at the airport. The only possible ending is a Sunset Ending.
Affair with a teenager?
You make it sound like he is dating a kid that is underage. JP is 19...Father Hobbs is in his mid 20's. That's not a big age difference.
And yes...Craig was worse. Father Hobbs is clear about the fact that he is gay. He's dealing with the fact that he's actually fallen in love and the conflict that is causing in his calling.
Craig was a nightmare and ruined several lives.
Plus...one of the reasons he could be coming back is to provide closure to the story. Guy has stated (as pointed out earlier) that he isn't comfortable playing gay. Maybe this is his chance to come back and get a straight storyline in the long run. He's clearly bisexual...not gay.
Do you, consider yourself a
Do you, consider yourself a teenager, at 20 years of age? John-Paul is an adult, who's having a consensual affair with another man, because he wants to be in a relationship with him. It's not like Kieron's 'manipulated' (as I've seen that word being used to describe Kieron Hobbs), him into the affair.
Love me less, but love me a long time - Les Chansons D'Amour
Jason..I'm in agreement
Jason..I'm in agreement with you
My number one love is for Olli and Christian, but this is fantastic news that Craig is coming back. I'm was a huge fan of the John Paul and Craig relationship, and was one of those fans who petitioned hard for Craig to come back for that Sunset Ending. I gave up folloing John Paul's story when the writers decided to hook him up with a priest and become a full blown hypocrite. It made no sense to me that John Paul left Craig at the airport for being in the closet and then went right back into this same type of a relationship, but only worse because now he's with a practicing Catholic Priest.. And for the record, John Paul is suppose to be 18 years old and Father Kieron is approaching 30. Father Kieron is just so unappealing to me in both character and appearance.
It is well know that John Paul is still deeply in love with Craig, and the writer/producer of the show Bryan Kirkwood has more or less given his world that fans will get the Sunset Ending we have been waiting for. The minute Craig returns to HollyOaks, I tune back in to watch.
Haven't you got no sympathy
Haven't you got no sympathy whatsoever for a guy who is struggling with his sexuality? God you've got not heart. It's not so easy to realise you have gay feelings and come to terms with them quickly. Ruined several peoples' lives? Get over yourself. Sarah seems to have gotten on with her life, so has John Paul even though he's still pining away for Craig and Craig's mom seems to have accepted her son as shown by her 'I've got a gay son' remark. You can't have expected him to do the right thing straight away. But he's going to do the right thing this time around. People are allowed to make mistakes, as long as you learn from them. And after Craig shows you that he has learnt from them, I hope you still won't be so heartless towards him.
Yeah, Craig is most likely bisexual, so what? He can still have a relationship with a guy. And Guy Burnet has expressed difficulty in the past yeah. But so has many straight actors. Look at Jason Lewis for example, you guys all ripped into him when he didn't even deserve it. No wonder he doesn't like this site anymore. But what you've got to remember is that Guy Burnet still did the kissing scenes, including that hot and heavy scene in the reveal episode. And the fact that he's coming back again to fight for John Paul, just goes to show that he's trying to put his uncomfortableness to one side. The guy deserves some kudos!
Fangurl feathers ruffled :)

1st...I have total understanding of a person dealing with their sexuality...but the thing is that during his run on the show he wasn't dealing with it. You obviously haven't read my other comments or you'd have seen that I liked that aspect of the story...he was a mess. He was a confused mess. But the thing is that he didn't change...at all. And if he does come back a changed person then I think it's unfortunate that the viewers didn't get to see him as he came to terms with things. But then we're getting ahead of ourselves...maybe he'll come back a total mess. We'll see.
2nd...he did ruin lives. People have had to do a lot with themselves to pick up the pieces. People still give JP crap about it and Sarah is still a mess.
3rd...there is nothing wrong with him being bisexual. I was just stating it because you questioned what reason would he have to return. Well...closure with the JP story and a new straight story that he'd be comfortable with.
craig has a lot to make up for
People are allowed to make mistakes, and can be forgiven if they show true remorse, I agree. But, Craig has made a LOT of mistakes. He was so emotionally manipulative and so selfish. He jerked John Paul around for months, promising one thing and doing another. He built up John Paul's hopes and then dashed them, repeatedly. And even that was better than his earlier behaviour where he was angry and cruel, and blamed JP for ruining everything.
You said in your earlier post that Craig is the only man that JP really loved. But for how long can you really love somebody who doesn't make you feel loved in return? There were very few times when Craig was loving towards JP. Love isn't static. It'd dynamic and needs to be fed.Kieron isn't perfect either. Sometimes he finds it hard to see things from John Paul's perspective. But that's possibly a reaction to the fact that John Paul can be quite opinionated while also having trouble seeing things from another perspective. Kieron is spiritually confused, the same way Craig was sexually confused. But Kieron has never been confused about the need to treat people with respect. And if he makes a mistake, he has the maturity to understand the depth and consequences of his mistakes.
I suppose it is possible for Craig to redeem himself. But I would only be satisfied if he willing to do TONS of grovelling. I want to see Craig truly understand the pain he caused to both Sarah and JP. I would like to see JP being firm and saying that he won't be jerked around anymore, and if Craig wants to be a part of his life he better step up and deliver.
Have you no sympathy, over
Have you no sympathy, over a young gay man, whom for whatever reason, decided to deny his true self, in the cloister of the Priesthood? A young man, who has unexpectantly found trust, friendship, desire, companionship, AND love with another young man? A man that shares those same feelings for him?
A young man, who's going to decide to choose LOVE for this young man, over his LOVE for being chaste for God?
Love me less, but love me a long time - Les Chansons D'Amour
Sympathy???
Sympathy? SYMPATHY??? Gay or straight or bi, Craig knowingly and willingly played them BOTH. We've seen from Christian on VL that a questioning man can figure himself out without resorting to betrayal and dirty little bits on the side, as Christian broke up with Coco just as he began struggling with his first kiss with Olli. Craig, on the other hand, wanted to ride two horses with one ass... uh uh, i don't think so.
So long as Craig now offers himself, his WHOLE self, to John Paul then he has a chance at winning John Paul over. His chances are best if Kieron can't get himself away from the church, but we've already heard from Kieron that he loves John Paul more than the church. I love how the tables have turned, and now the one who always wanted men who had to choose, will finally have to do some choosing himself... John Paul's going to see it's not so easy.
As for the actor Guy Burnet, I admire his return whether it's from a lack of a job or not. Some actors wouldn't have returned to give the fans what they've been dying for at all. Kudos to him indeed --- we're all excited and dying to see John Paul's biggest life changing story yet!
Yeah but just because Guy
I think making him bisexual is imaginative
The road they have taken him down is bisexuality. Criag was his first real gay relationship. Having him come back, still having feelings for JP, and in the long run making his next relationship with a girl could help further an understanding of bisexuality.
Interesting indeed.
Interesting indeed, how this is going to play out. The JP/Craig sunset ending has been a strong force one this year. I believe its the only reason James Sutton stayed after his contract was up, he had a real interest of doing other things. So they started this filler storyline with Kieron that has taken a life of its own.
I have been suprised of how many of the Craig fans have been turning on him and making it known that they prefer Kieron now. If this keeps up, a JP/Craig ending is not guaranteed, like Jason suggests.
At this point I prefer Kieron, he has treated JP with a lot more respect. Craig have better done A LOT of growing up to consider him a good match for JP. We will see, that love triangle its going to be great to watch.
Craig returning early? Sign me up!
Snicks, you just made my frakkin' week!
Put me in the camp that loves Craig & JP. Yes, Craig screwed up (a lot). But he was trying to sort through the complications of his bi-sexuality. In the (near-)end, he redeemed himself by choosing JP over Sarah, and admitting that love of JP to everyone. But it's not a simple flip of a switch, as we saw at the airport in Craig's final episode. Time away has surely matured him further in dealing honestly & openly with his sexuality.
I CANNOT WAIT FOR HIS RETURN!!! Though I really love Father Kieron too. Crap! I will be on pins and needles every day once that storyline starts up.
Now, if Christian & Oliver show up in Hollyoaks as a crossover five-way, I'll simply die right there on the spot a happy man. ;P
I don't think
he'll return to have a straight plot. The Chrsimast message to JP, and her mother telling Kieron that she has a gay son, seems more like he accept his sexuality now.
It seems more like a gay triangle to me
Where did HO go?
I only follow here and on Gays of Daytime, but it seems like it's been forever since we've had new scenes. Anyone of our British Brothers able to give me the 411 on where JP and Kieron went?
www.thebittersuite.blogspot.com
Actually
Kieron has appeared a few times.
Once he tried to break up a fight between Michaela and Ste and she turned on him saying something like "You are not the person to be talking to me about right or wrong", or something like that. That left him with a loss of words. That was funny.
And of course, the above mentioned condom incident.
Brock...this link does the solo Kieron/JP stuff also...
...even if they are not in a scene with each other they still include it...
Here is a playlist for JP and Craig.
Here is a playlist for JP and Kieron.
I loved JP with Craig...but my heart is behind JP and Kieron.

I'm sorry but the writers arn't gonna just change their whole storyline just because some of the fans have turned on Craig. They've had this planned for a long time let me tell you.
Oh yeah GayTVLover, I understand bi-sexuality better than anyone, considering I am bisexual. I don't need to have a relationship with a girl to know I am one. I can be in a healthy and happy gay relationship with a man, and I'd still be bisexual. Heck, I can even go through my entire life not even having sex with a woman, but I'd know that I was still bisexual. Craig could have a Sunset Ending with John Paul and it would make absolutely perfect sense.
Jason...nobody is questioning your bisexuality
As a bisexual I'm sure you are also aware that many people think that bisexuality is nothing more than the slow train to gayville. This opinion is especially prominent in the gay community. The writers on the show could do a really good storyline on a guy coming to terms with his bisexuality. The reactions of the people around him. Now...on an education level obviously you would not be the person who needs this lesson...and perhaps you won't see it as any form of validation. I can say that one of the the things that my bi friends always comment on is the fact that there are almost no really good bisexual characters on TV. Characters that when they are not in relationships explore both sexes with equal passion on the show.
For JP to return and give closure to his past very popular relationship...come out as a very steady bisexual and then get in a relationship with a woman who fully knows and understands that he likes men also...that could be groundbreaking if done correctly.
And I think the writers will tailor their storyline to the fans. I mean...didn't someone mention earlier that Father Hottie was suppose to be killed off but they kept him because he was so popular?
JP is not the bisexual one
From you post it sound like JP should turn out the bisexual on the show - he is not. Craig might be. It would take a long while for him on the show to explore steady bisexuality properly, he'd have to be with another man except JP (to prove he is not just a straight boy indoctrinated by a gay boy - which many of the characters on the show accused him of ) and then another girl (to prove he's not on the way to being gay). No way is he going to stay on long enough for that. We can only hope they give Kris some more male love interests before he settles down with anyone of either gender.
And I don't think the writers tailor their storyline ot the fans. The supposed killing off of Father Kieron was always only a rumor. There was a dodgy internet petition with a few hundred names. And then someone announced on TV that Kieron wasn't going to be killed off after all, only for all the soap mags to print the opposite the next day. So no, the "saving father Kieron petition"-story is only a rumor.
As to the sunset ending - yes, that IS something the fans have been campaigning for and probably played a big role in both the producers' and Guy Burnet's willingness to provide it. But it was written in as a possibility all along.
I meant to say Craig in that post.
Champagne all round. Craig's back!
So he's coming back... I for one will happily pop open the bubbly and give a toast to the writers of hollyoaks. I like JP with Craig because to me it makes sense. Yes there's plenty of angst, lots of tears, heartbreak but underlying it all is love. Those two absolutely love each other. No question about it. Their interaction is pure chemistry- no boring moments there. Their love has been tried and tested and if they get back together then it's a testament to it. Sort of mirrors real life ( well my life anyway). I like the Priest but I don't like the Priest with JP. Something about it screams all wrong...
And about those giving Guy Burnet a hard time... I went to YT and watched his past interviews and to be honest I did not get a homophobic vibe from him. Yes he stated he was uncomfortable doing gay scenes with James Sutton.....he was being honest. I mean the man's straight and I imagine doing a love scene with another woman let alone another man infront of a crew would be a little daunting. He kisses another man for almost 9 months...seems like the least homophobic thing anyone would do.
Vague...well said, and i'll
Vague...well said, and i'll be popping some of that champagne right along with you whenh Craig returns for his man.
My love for John Paul and Craig together has never faultered. As for Father Kieron with John Paul...it's a big thumbs down from me.
I was a sunset ending fan...
Looking back, Craig was just a jerk and how would JP be able to gain a sense that Craig isn't just playing him again. Both JP and Fr. Keiron have been struggling with the issue of vows. I think Fr. K has treated JP far better than Craig ever did and JP has outgrown Craig. Craig had his chance and blew it.
No matter who JP ends up with I really hope Jamie Sutton doesn't leave HO yet. It's been a thrill to see him as JP.
Jamie???!!!
Craig vs Kieron
I was watching the old Hollyoaks webcasts before BBC America dropped them, and I think it's easy for us to forget how many HORRIBLE things Craig did to John Paul. There had to be at least 10-15 instances where John Paul tried to break it off, begged him to tell Sarah, etc. and Craig wormed his way back every time. I remember that episode where after promising John Paul he'd break up with Sarah, Craig ended up taking off with her to Tenerife and leaving John Paul in the dust.
Craig would have to change in a pretty big way for him to be worthy of John
