"Day Without A Gay": Does this mean no Bravo?

By now you've probably heard of the movement to make December 10th the Day Without A Gay:

On December 10, 2008 the gay community will take a historic stance against hatred by donating love to a variety of different causes. You are encouraged not to call in sick to work. You are encouraged to call in "gay"--and donate your time to service!

Of course, there have already been plenty of snarky comments about it, i.e. "hair salons being empty", but since we try to steer clear of snarkiness here ...pause until laughter subsides ... we're not going to mention how terrified we are of being without Bravo for an entire day.

Seriously, we're interested to find out how you feel. Is this something you're planning to participate in, or does it not interest you? And what would the reaction be if you did "call in gay?" Would your co-workers support you, or would they be pissed because they had take up your slack?
