"Forbidden Love" video clip update: Twinkle, twinkle, cuckoo star
In this clip from Forbidden Love, the now officially long-suffering solo Christian is dealing with the unraveling of roommate Judith and the absence of Olli by stuffing his mouth with junk (food, that is). Is he sublimating, or just hungry? Find out after the break! Judith has really gone off the deep end with her desire to nab Constantin. As Christian and Lydia look on, she singlehandedly creates a creepy combination shrine/love nest to her intended (it's like Martha Stewart meets Rupert Pupkin). How crazy is it? Remember in Close Encounters of the Third Kind when Richard Dreyfuss built that giant tower of mashed potatoes? He would watch in awe of Judith and her star display.
We'll leave it to you to discover if her love trap claims its victim, but we need to move on to Christian's troubling preoccupation with nibbling. In a lot of scenes lately he's chowing down on something, and I have to believe that he's sublimating his desire for Olli with snack foods. We'll know for sure if, in the next clip, he shows up with a tray of eclairs, popsicles, bratwurst, and a couple of fuzzy peaches. What's up in Ibiza?
It's so good for Olli that Christian doesn't want all the details? Ruh-roh. Despite Jo's outside theatre committments, you'd think that Christian would have high-tailed it to join Olli in Ibiza. At least to get away from Judith's drama--unless he's afraid she'll pull an Olivia and burn down the apartment.
I hope we get to see an awful lot of their reunion in bed once Olli returns next month.

I can't wait until Ollie returns to the show and i hope they make a big deal about it, I imagine a hopelessly romantic scene where they run into each others arms and kiss, followed by a date in the bathtub because you can never be clean enough.

An alternative to food...
So, while it is the unanimous sentiment that we all desperately await Ollie's return - had anyone else wished to see another possible romance for Christian? Now, prior to sending me to the stake for such a blasphemous statement - please let me explain. We have seen this young couple really develop together, with little or no influence of other gay characters (something that is simply not a reality in any gay relationship). In this episode, food was a great way to supplicate his yearnings, but perhaps another gay character (albeit guest appearance) would have drummed up much more interests, and added more of a spice for our audience. Perhaps it would be interesting to see Christian brush off the advances of another, and grow more appreciative of his emotions for Ollie.

YOu mean like Timo, who is apparently in Sports School with our Christian? They were supposedly in a study group together. Timo's a horny guy, and he knows his way around the apartment.
This is totally off-topic, but is anyone else relieved by the fact the residents above NoLimits lock their doors? they regularly use their keys to get in and out. You never see that on American soaps.
Tom & Ulli on VL from several years back
Has anyone else caught the vids that are now being posted on YouTube showing Tom & Ulli's story? This will lead into Olli & Tom's relationship. It's from 1999/2000.

Tom & Ulli's relationship comes at the end of a lesbian story with Ericka and Nina. What's been posted so far is an interesting contrast to the beginning of CHristian and Olli. Seems that with Luke/Noah, Christian/Olli, and Tom/Ulli, all three have begun with the gay man breaking up the seeming happy hetero couple. Even though they are soap characters, is there any other way to introduce a gay romance?
