"Forbidden Love" video clip update: Did Christian have a Holly Olli Christmas?
We've got two clips today to help satisfy your Forbidden Love appetite. First up is Christian going solo to a champagne breakfast, then we get an interview with Thore Schölermann and Jo Weil that leaves a lot to be desired. See them both, and discuss after the break! Christian is feeling blue after finding out that Olli is staying in Ibiza for Christmas, so he decides to drown his sorrows by attending a champagne breakfast at the Dynasty-esque family mansion of Rebecca. Unfortunately, like most Christmas gatherings, it completely falls apart and leaves people with hurt feelings and inappropriate gifts. Ho ho ho! It's an entertaining clip, but I'm a bit perplexed when Christian says he would be with Olli in Ibiza if it wasn't "for this exam". Huh? Is this the same exam that kept him from going with Olli a month ago? Exactly how long does this exam take, and is it at least multiple choice? As an added bonus, we have an interview with Thore and Olli, which like all things Forbidden Love is translated by our wonderful Nanna. Reading our new interview this week with Jo and contrasting it with the questions asked by the German reporter is ... interesting, to say the least. It's fairly obvious that this reporter knows very little about the show other than "Thore and Jo play a gay couple", and she actually asks them if they're a gay couple in real life (and after they laugh it off, she says "it needed to be asked".) My favorite part is when she asks about their personal lives, and they both look ready to manually remove their eyes and roll them across the floor. But both guys are their usual winning selves, and their natural charisma can pierce even the most lame-brained of questions. What would you ask if given the chance? The GOOL interview was excellent. I laughed as I read Jo's opinion that Thore is a real terror to work with.
It was, however, the first interview I've seen where Jo mentioned his LTR.

I know I'm never going to sleep with him, so I really don't care if he's str8 or gay.

That stopped them in their tracks, didn't it! There are so many inane interviewers around. Bonus points for Thore and Jo for not throwing something at her. :D
I can't believe that
I can't believe that interviewer asked if they were a couple in real life...WTF! People really need to seperate reality from fiction. I know that Thore recently mentioned what really annoys him is how fans can't seperate the character they play on TV from reality, and this interviewer demenstrated his point, exactly.
Wow!! both guys were stopped cold in their tracts when asked if they were presently in relationships? Both answered, but what an awkward moment. It's really not our business. I don't care about the private lifes of actors, just discussion surrounding their roles and the show itself.
Good thing both Jo and Thore are so sweet, but these same questions about how they felt playing gay, kissing another guy and their personal relationships is getting old. The recent interview on this site with Jo demonstrated how it should be done...it was pleasent, comfortable and kept on subject about the show. Very perfessionally conducted. Thore should look about doing one with AE, he would find it far less embarrassing than others i've seen him do lately.
