"Forbidden Love" video clip update: Then a hero comes along

So how flummoxed has this clip from Forbidden Love made me? I actually quoted from a...Mariah Carey song.

Curse you, Forbidden Love!

Today's clip opens with Christian about to introduce Axel to his friend Slugger, from Louisville. Olivia appears out of the blue (was she just in Oakdale?) and takes one look at Axel's face and says "Oh, No..I'm too late!" (actually, that doesn't happen, but it would have been funny).

She convinces Christian that it's not what Olli would want, and reminds him that he's still on parole, and would immediately go back to jail if he beat up Axel. Christian decides not to attack him, but does call him a "mofo", which I loved.

Meanwhile, Olli is unconscious on a hospital bed, recovering from the operation (and that thing on his head makes him a dead ringer for Gloria Swanson in the classic tv movie Killer Bees. All he needs is a straw hat...full of killer bees).

Dr. Leo tells Charley that when Olli wakes up, he may have partial paralysis and have trouble speaking for a while, which is normal after this kind of operation. Charley and Gregor are concerned because they haven't been able to get a hold of Christian, and are afraid he's gone off the deep end.

Christian decides to confront the guys in the gym once and for all, and as Axel looks around nervously, tells them how much a coward Axel was for beating up Olli with a nightstick, and then bragging about it. Kai (who Christian tried to reason with earlier) looks upset, which might be good news for the legal case against Axel.

Olivia bursts in and joyously tells him that Olli came through the operation, and is recovering, and Christian decides to leave the straight guys in the gym to do what they do best...sweat on each other and shower together.

What happens when Christian gets back to the hospital, we'll leave to you, but it gave me goosebumps, and it should put to rest any criticism of how dedicated Thore Schoelermann is to this role.
