Good news for "Les Bleus" and "Clara Sheller" fans!

Earlier this year, we brought you the translated versions of two terrific French shows, the dramedy Clara Sheller and the cop drama Les Bleus. If you were fans of those shows, we've got great news about their second seasons.

Find out after the break (and see a preview clip with some hot and heavy snogging!).

Les Bleus centers around the life of out Parisian cop Kevin LaPorte, played by Nicolas Gob (who made such an impact on readers that he ended up on the AfterElton Hot 100). The last time we saw Kevin he had just broken up with his rat bastard of a boyfriend (sorry ... it's all coming back to me).

In the second season, Kevin still has to deal with being an out gay man on the police force, but hopefully he'll have time for a relationship.

Nicolas Gob as Kevin

The first season of Clara Sheller was about a semi-closeted character named J.P. and his relationship with BFF Clara. Something fascinating has happened in the second season, though. Apparently, every character has undergone the Steven Carrington transformation, and is now played by a different actor!

We presented the translated clips from the first season, but unfortunately couldn't give you the final episode. Our translator and friend ZTube31 went offline for a while, but we're ecstatic to tell you that he's back online, and will be translating both new seasons of Clara Sheller and Les Bleus (you can check out a translated preview of Clara, with some heavy kissing, below).

Look for those translated clips after the new seasons start in the next few weeks, and be sure to check out new weekly column The Gays of our Lives for weekly updates of gay-interest soaps around the world. And many thanks again to ZTube31 for saving us from the horrors of Babelfish!

    Thank you French television

Thank you French television producers!  At least I can go to bed now knowing that gay relationships are getting equal screentime nookie as much as everyone else somewhere in the world!

gays and lesbians in the news

Are lesbians angels or something. All you ever hear is something in the news about gays but, never anything about lesbians. Do they catch Aids or molest little girls or are they angels in devils clothing. We never hear anything on them and I'm sure their not aren't as perfect as they seem to be. They say in the Bible that man shall not lay with man as with women but, there is nothing in there about two women sleeping together. It appears to me that being a Lesbian is an approved way of life among Heteros. They can kiss and hug on tv and nothing gets said like the blow-up we get when two guys touch one another. Whaddup wit dat????
