"Hollyoaks" video clip update: Nialled to the wall!

Now THIS is drama! I haven't been this mesmerized by a soap storyline since Delia was kidnapped by a horny escaped gorilla named Prince Albert on Ryan's Hope.

The clip opens with Kieron waking up for a big day of officiating. He's performing the wedding of Max and Steph, and before he leaves he sweetly kisses a sleeping John Paul goodbye on the forehead, and leaves him this even sweeter note:

See You later, Gorgeous, K. XXX

Unfortunately, Niall is in full "revenge-family-psycho-bloodbath" mode, and steals the vows Kieron needs for the service from his coat pocket. After Kieron leaves, Niall goes into the bedroom and turns off the alarm clock, so J.P. won't wake up, then plants the vows on the nightstand next to the bed.

The rat bastard has hatched his plan.

Kieron shows up at Myra's, and informs her that he hasn't had any luck finding the son she gave up (who of course, is actually Niall). Right on cue, Niall starts phase two of "destroy the McQueens!", and when Myra shows up at the beauty shop to get her hair done before the wedding, Niall asks her to go over to the flat to pick up the vows.

By this time J.P. has woken up, and after reading the note that Kieron left (and I still can't get over how sweet that was), jumps into the shower. Myra walks into the flat, and while J.P. is scrubbing his hide, walks into the bedroom and finds the vows...and the note. She looks perplexed, then turns around, and sees something horrific.

It's the ugly striped shirt that J.P. swiped from his American cousin Luke when he visited Oakdale, Illinois.

At that moment, J.P. walks in wearing a towel, and Myra finally realizes what's going on.

I won't recap the second clip, because it deserves to be seen with the surprises intact. What I will say is that the last few minutes are classic soap opera, beautifully executed. Good drama leaves you wanting more immediately, and I didn't want this clip to end.
