"Hollyoaks" video clip: One less McQueen
It's the aftermath of the explosion, and when it's all over, one McQueen child will not survive. Join us after the break for another Hollyoaks Megapost! Note: We're going to keep the spoilers at a minimum, so you can experience superior dramatic storytelling. In the first of our two clips, Myra is combing through the wreckage for her children. She doesn't get an answer from John Paul, however, because Niall still has control of him. He explains to J.P. more about his decision to kill Kieron (hint: it's all J.P.'s fault). The second clip is a corker, as Jacqui proves she has a little Niall in her, and Niall shows he may have one last shred of humanity. Meanwhile, a certain McQueen child is in dire straits....This clip has it all..tears, recriminations, and a self sacrifice. Make sure you watch the final shot closely! This is great stuff, and it certainly puts most other soaps to shame. I haven't seen this kind of go-for-broke television since the 80's. Superior acting (from everyone), tense dialogue (which is sure to have repercussions for everyone involved), and a perfect denouement. What did you think about how the show handled it? that was pretty devastating...
is it weird that i still wanted Niall and the McQueens to end up a happy family?

No, you're not alone :D
But I solely blame Barry Sloane for that feeling. His acting is so incredibly touching, I just hope he gets every award available for it!
Okay, leaving the traditional Niall-plotholes and inconsistencies aside, and ignoring the fact that there were maybe a tad too much people running around and ruins falling apart - it was a marvellous episode. The acting was incredible, the dialogue really really good.
I guess, snicks won't do recaps for the Late night episodes as there's not enough gayness in it - but I'm looking forward to it, and not only because I'm curious if the wuthering heights - hints might turn out to be true =)
