Liveblogging "As The World Turns": Welcome to Oakhell ... Stay Awhile

Now that Reid has been forced to spend the next month in Oakdale (don't ask), will he agree to help Noah, and will his attitude toward Luke start to thaw?

2:05PM EST: Damien is holding a gun on Holden and threatens to shoot him, but Lily trembles and cries and that seems to do the trick.

Luke runs into Reid at the hospital and says "Um, I'm sorry about helping make those trumped-up charges stick, but could you pretty please help Noah?" Reid politely declines, and Luke tells him "If you help out, I'll put in a good word for you with Dr. Bob and maybe with your legal bills". Reid says "First blackmail, now bribery?"

Noah is listening to the audio of the Kish love scene and becomes so frustrated he throws the CD against the wall. He digs his phone out of his pocket, and calls someone and says "You can hang up if you want, but if I need you will you come over?" BTW, I'm wavering between really digging Noah's haircut, or believing he cut it himself. I haven't decided.

2:15PM EST: OMG! Lily and Damien are about to leave when Meg pops out of a trunk gasping for air. Wild-eyed, she pulls a gun on Damien and starts ranting and raving about him trying to kill her. Damien and Holden try to calm her down, but when Damien tries to grab the gun, Lily throws herself on his back like a spider monkey. He tosses her off, and she falls to the floor and is knocked unconscious. As holden tries to help her, Damien runs out of the room, with meg in hot pursuit.

Luke tries to persuade Reid to operate on Noah, but Reid says no and calls him Mr. Grimaldi. It looks like he used Llanipedia Oakdalepedia to find out Luke's history.

Noah calls Maddie over and asks her to take him to the hospital so he can undermine his relationship with Luke.

2:25PM EST: Katie is in the cafe, frustrated because the crying baby recording in the stroller can't be switched off. Reid basically tells her "I'm a doctor, but your crying baby means nothing to me". Katie goads him into taking a look. She says "I don't know why i'm bothering with a podiatrist anyway". Reid is insulted and says "I look like a podiatrist?" That's when Katie clearly says "it looks like you have your foot up your ass", but the last part of the sentence is censored. Hmm ...

Luke gets home in time to see Noah and Maddie about to leave for the hospital to see Reid. Luke says "without me?" and Noah says "He hates you, so maybe I should try it alone"

2:45PM EST: Damien frantically calls Luke and orders him to come over. When Luke gets there Damien is ... gathering his gold nuggets? He obviously watches too much Glenn Beck. Luke watches and says "Damian, what have you done?"

Reid and Katie start to talk ... and bond. I'd better not be witnessing any chemistry here.

Later, Noah talks to Reid at the hospital, and tells him that Luke was pretty much to blame for his accident. Yeah, Luke threw those fireworks in your face.

Damian says "you're going to hear a lot of terrible things about me when I'm gone. Never forget that I love you, and everything I did I did for you and your mother." Luke tries to protest, but Damian says "i have to go, but when the time is right we'll see each other again". Damian turns to leave and Luke says "Dad!" Damian turns around and they embrace ... and then Damian leaves. this was a nice scene, well played by Van.

2:55PM EST: Reid tells Noah that he'll agree to help him, but Noah must keep Luke "out of his orbit". Noah agrees.

Henry is trying to seduce Katie with a foot massage when Reid comes in, looks around, and says "yeah, it'll do". Katie tells Henry "This is Dr. Oliver. He's moving in."

Luke catches up with Noah at the hospital, and Noah tells him that Reid will go ahead with the surgery, but Luke can't be any part of it. They have to stay away from each other ... starting now.

Holden catches up with Damian on the docks and Damian says "just let me go". Holden tells him "Not this time".

Preview Time: Will Luke be able to stay away from Noah? We'll see.
