Liveblogging "As The World Turns": Forever hold your piece?

Because that's just what Mason is wishing for when he and Noah have "car trouble".
And as you can tell from the above pic, Luke and Lucinda are just tickled pink that Lily is remarrying Damien. But will a certain someone crash the wedding?

EDITOR'S NOTE: One of the best things about AfterElton.com has been how respectful our readers are toward each other. Yes, we have heated debates on the site, but it is shockingly rare how little I've had to intervene and warn folks about their behavior. For the most part that is still true, but two issues have come up of late and I feel that I need to address them.
No doubt those of you who follow our As the World Turns and One Life to Live coverage have noticed both shows have passionate fans as well as detractors. Obviously both shows have their pluses and minuses and that can lead to great debates about how each show is handling their gay characters and gay storylines. The problem is that those debates have spilled out of our Gays of Our Lives column, where such debates are appropriate, and into the Liveblogs for each show. And that is starting to ruin the enjoyment for those tuning in for the Liveblogs.
I feel the purpose of the ATWT and OLTL Liveblogs is not just for those at work who can't watch the show to follow along what happened that day, but also a chance for fans to analyze, debate and discuss what happened during the episode. But it is not the place for fans of the show not being liveblogged that day to come in and either promote the show they like better or to bash the show they don't like. That is a hijacking the liveblog from it's intended purpose and starting today, it won't be allowed.
If you go off topic in the comments for the OLTL liveblog and start posting about everything wrong with ATWT, your comment will be deleted and you'll be warned. If you do it again, your account will be temporarily suspended. Obviously this doesn't mean you can't ever mention the other show, but it needs to be in context and not intended to start a debate. You're adults and the vast majority of you understand what is appropriate and what is not.
We will try to read every comment each day, but some liveblogs can generate more than a 100 comments. We are very short staffed, and I ask that if you see a comment you believe violates the rules, please private message myself, Snicks, or Ed and we will take a look.
The second issue pertains to the rating system on the comments. Again, most people use the system as intended to either indicate they especially enjoyed a comment or to indicate their displeasure. Fortunately, most of the time it's used to praise a comment or, when used to give a low rating, used appropriately. But it's come to my attention that some folks are simply rating every post they disagree with zero stars and in the liveblog comments that can mean a lot of zero stars for someone who comments a great deal. And that's not fair to punish someone that way.
Therefore, I've decided to disable the rating system. It's going to take a little time as there is some technical work involved, but starting today I'd appreciate it if folks simply stopped using. Please shoot me a note if you have any questions or thoughts on any of the above.
Thanks and have fun!

2:05PM EST: Lucinda bursts into Lily's room and says "AAAHH, Darling, Faith just told me the most preposterous news! She said you were marrying Damien today. Of course, it's balderdash and poppycock, right, darling?"
Damien talks to Luke about marrying Lily, and Luke is all "sure, whatever" . He says "Holden was my dad, but you and mom are my parents too, so it's not that big a stretch to see the two of you together". Damien, says "great, cause I want you to be my best man"
Noah walks into Mason's office to find ... a lady? He fumbles for words "Mason ... where is? ... who you? Whaaaaa?", and the lady very coldly says "i'm you're new faculty advisor", and tosses his screenplay on the desk and basically says it's a big pile o' crap.
2:15PM EST: Lily and Lucinda have a very Carrie & Margaret White conversation about Lily canceling the wedding. I was hoping Lucinda would grab her arms and cry out "they're all going to laugh at you!"
Damien wants Luke to start calling him "father", but when Luke does, it just sounds altar-boy creepy.
Holden is in the hospital, but insists on leaving to get home to his family. I will never forgive this show for not giving us a peak at Holden from behind wearing his hospital gown.
Lucinda goes all Aurora Greenway and says "I cannot come to this wedding!
2:25PM EST: Damien is doing all he can to prevent Lily from getting cold feet. He says "I've already contacted the judge, and the kids can pick out the music". Great, Lily and Damien can march down the aisle to Poker Face or Party in the USA.
Luke meets up with Noah, and Noah says, I kid you not "TPTB thought it would be best for the general public if I never got near a camera ever again". Oh, they're referring to Noah, not Jake. I'm just kidding! It's just a joke. Please don't come after me!
He goes on to explain that Mason up and quit, and dumped him with a new advisor.
2:35PM EST: Damn, Wounded Holden is hot! Lily has gone cuckoo again, she's talking to a giant rock. Oh wait, I think it's supposed to be Holden's gravesite.
Oh boy, Luke is now telling Noah to get Mason back. Um ...what? He says "just don't let him touch touch you ... and then get back here for my mother's wedding". Oh, Luke.
Noah meets up with Mason, who says "what I did was for the best ... it would be too uncomfortable working together now that you know that you give me wood". Noah says "I'll be the one to decide what makes me uncomfortable". Mason says "fine, let's go to the quarry to scout locations ... I just a minute to be able to stand up".
2:40PM EST: The wedding party is gathered together when someone resembling Lucinda comes in and tearfully says "i've changed my mind, I'm here to support you". Where is the real Lucinda?
As a thunderstorm cracks overhead, Mason and Noah find themselves in a stalled car. Mason says "I don't know what could be wrong", and Noah suspiciously asks "did you plan this?"
2:50PM EST: Mason says "get over yourself! I'm not in love with you!" Noah says "I'm sorry, but once again, I'm not there when Luke needs me".
The wedding commences, and after Meg (are they trying to make her come off as crazy as Paul?) tries to intervene, Lily and Damien recite their vows. After they exchange vows, and the judge says "i now pronounce you husband & wife", the door blows open, and everyone turns around to see ... the leaves swirling in the doorway.
Oh yeah, Holden is standing there, too.
Preview Time : Daddy's home! And Luke wants to know why Noah wasn't there for the wedding.
