Liveblogging "As The World Turns": Jude Law ... seriously?

It's been a while since we livebogged the story in Oakdale, but from what I understand, they have a new Dairy Queen! Oh yeah, and Holden is dead.

As Luke is till mourning the loss of his father, Noah gets an offer from Mason that he may find difficult to turn down.

Join us for the fun below, and refresh often for updates.

2:00PM EST: Okay, please bear with me, I haven't watched ASWT since Fish started cooking, so I may be out of the loop.

2:05PM EST: Lucinda walks in and is accosted by a small person named Ethan. She doesn't throw him into a cage to be devoured later, so I'm assuming Ethan is a relative.

Luke and Lucinda chat about Holden, and how hard it is now that's he's gone, etc. So how long til Holden's resurrection? And will it be with amnesia, or a disfigurement?

2:10PM EST: Mason comes in (okay, what the hell is with the scarves? Is it an affectation, or is he like that little girl in Orphan, and the scarf is hiding some hideous monstrosity on his neck? OMG, does he have his deformed conjoined-twin on his shoulder, and he uses the scarf to muffle it's voice?) and tells Noah that he's arranged a meeting with Jude Law to star in his movie. Noah says "thanks, but Luke needs me now ." Mason refuses to take no for an answer, and when Luke comes in, presses Noah to tell him.

2:15PM EST: An exhausted Luke says he wants to know what's going on, and when Noah tells him about the Jude Law offer, he orders Noah to go to the meeting with him. Meanwhile, everyone in town is commiserating over Holden's death. Lucinda and Jack are having a convo, which may be the first time I've seen them talking.

2:25PM EST: Lily is inconsolable, and doesn't want to have anything to do with the funeral arrangements. I am so seeing an elegant brunette woman collapsing on top of a casket in the near future.

Noah says "you didn't leave me when i was going through my father stuff, so how can I leave you now". Luke says "that was different, when you get back my dad will still be dead, and I'll still be a nervous wreck. Plus, my hot brother Aaron is coming back!"

2:40PM EST: Damien heads over to knock boots some sense into Lily, and tells her "i'm here for you, and unlike your other husband, I won't up and die". Lucinda and Emma have a nice scene together (the best scene in this episode) and it's a shame they don't interact more (even it's for just Haughtiness vs. Earthiness).

Luke insists Noah go meet Jude and "knock his socks off", and Noah says "okay, if you're sure you don't need me". Uh-oh ... Why do I think Noah is going to dwell on Luke not "needing him"?

2:50PM EST: Damien brigs Lily to the funeral home, where she proceeds to almost fall apart at the sight of the casket. Jeez, she's getting pretty worked up over a carjacker.

2:55PM EST: Lily tenderly caresses the casket, but unfortunately doesn't collapse weeping. Oh wait ...at the last second ... we have collapse! We then shift over to a mysterious man face down on a bed. He turns over, and ...OMG!, it's Holden! So what do we have here? Some kind of Misery story about to happen, with Holden the prisoner of a lonely and loony lady?

Preview Time: No Nuke this week, but hopefully Noah will have a good time in Hollywood meeting "Jude Law".
