Liveblogging "As The World Turns" : Dangling the LuRe

Am I the only who finds Luke's ANGRY FACES incredibly hot? Um, do you think these are the same faces Luke has when he ... you know.

Anyway, yesterday's show ended with LuRe in a hot snogging session. Will they take the next step today?

2:05PM EST: We start with a hysterical Parker Bieber being coached by Carly on how to lie. That's some great parenting. But if anyone can teach him ...

Margo (who looks like she was investigating a wind tunnel) tells Jack that Craig stole all of Parker's trust fund.

Luke and Reid are still kissing. Kudos to the show for not shying away from it this time.

Janet (whose funbags are going commando) is clearing tables when Liberty enters wearing an awesomely inappropriate wig. It looks like Cher circa Mermaids. I keep expecting her to break into "It's In His Kiss."

2:15PM EST: Craig is talking to some guy on the "beach". We know he's at the "beach" because he has an open shirt, sunglasses, and there's a pineapple on the table next to him. Craig is furious, and gets even more upset when they guy starts playing plays his "sounds from the beach" CD.

Jack comes home to tell Parker the bad news, and Parker manages to feign shock and outrage. You've taught him well, LieCarly!

Reid and Luke are STILL kissing when Luke suddenly breaks apart from him and says "what am I doing". Is it just me, or did Luke's hair get darker since yesterday? Anyway, Luke is all "Noah, blah blah, blah blind," and he starts buttoning his shirt. Reid says "you're overreacting" but Luke says "Noah blah blah blah blind". Reid tells him "be honest. Something has been brewing between us for quite some time, and you wanted this to happen just as much as I did."

2:25PM EST: Reid says "just admit that you wanted this to happen as much as I did", and Luke responds "even if that were true, Noah is in critical condition. I can't make this about me, Reid. Right now, Noah has to be mo\y top priority, and yours, too." Reid reminds him that if there's any change in Noah's condition, they'll be the first to know. He also reminds Luke that Noah kicked him to the curb. He says "don't beat yourself up for wanting to move on." Luke says "I can't do this, I've gotta go."

Margo is questioning Craig when Carly comes in and knees him in the acorns.

2:40PM EST: Luke comes into the hospital room, and tells the unconscious Noah that "I don't care if you're blind, I just want you to wake up so you can do everything with your life that I know you can. Just open your eyes". Reid silently enters the room and observes.

Luke turns around and sees Reid, and tells him that he knows Reid would never do anything to purposely hurt Noah, no matter what his feelings are. Reid tells him "you're not all that, Mr. Snyder." Ha! Luke tells him that Noah was the first person he ever fell in love with, and he thought the two of them were going to be together forever. Reid says "that explains a lot."

2:55: Reid examines Noah and says "I'm encouraged. We'll keep checking his vitals for the next day until he wakes up." Luke asks if he should stay with him, and Reid "If you want my professional opinion, yes. There's a lot we don't know about coma patients, and it's possible they can sense loved ones around them. I believe it wouldn't hurt for you to sit with him, and let him know that you're here." Luke says "Dr. Oliver, thank you". and Reid responds "take care of him, Luke." As Luke turns his chair towards Noah, Reid leaves the room and sadly looks in through the window. AWWW! STUPID BLIND NOAH! No,no, no. I didn't mean that. I hope Noah does get better. SO LUKE CAN DUMP HIS ASS! No, no, no. I didn't mean that. Luke and Noah have been through a lot together. NOAH DOESN'T DESERVE TO BE DUMPED......... No, no, no. I didn't mean that.
