Liveblogging "One Life to Live": Into the Sunset

Once upon a time, there were two men in love ...
2:05PM EST: It would have to be a Fangston day today. But on the bright side, maybe it'll be a Jessica day, too.
And it is! Perfect!
Bo and Nora are discussing his marriage proposal. And we get the boredom trifecta today.
The custody battle gets underway. TBTD says that Sky found out he's not the father, and so has dropped his petition. Oliver stands up and says "I'm the father, but I don't have a lawyer cause Sierra keeps loading her diaper and I gag every time I try to change her, but I'm trying my best, and I want full custody."
2:10PM EST: Yeah! we get to see Dorian one last time. I think I'll miss you the most, scarecrow.
Egads! What the hell is Dorian wearing? it looks like a rubber bath mat.
2:15PM EST: The judge asks Oliver if he's married, and he says "I'm gay, but I have a partner ... all we need is one of those damn activist judges. Are you game?" Actually, Kyle stands up and introduces himself, and for a second I thought for sure the judge was going to recognize him and say "Back again, Mr. Lewis?", but all she says is "So you're a full time medical student and Mr. Fish is a full time police officer?" Oliver says "I know where you're going with this, judge, but I assure you that I take Sierra with me on patrol and I keep her properly holstered at all times." The judge is not impressed.
2:25PM EST: Gigi finally redeems herself by standing up and saying "I love my niece, but Oliver does, too. He'll be a great father. He should have custody." The judge says 'I hereby grant Oliver Fish sole custody", as Oliver and Kyle start beaming and hugging each other and Sierra. Awww!

2:40PM EST: Oliver tells Gigi that he wants her to be a part of Sierra's life, but tragically that won't happen. As Gigi and Rex leave the courthouse they're flattened by a 50 ft. chunk of frozen human waste dumped from a low-flying plane filled with people suffering from explosive diarrhea. All they find from Gigi is her perfectly coiffed hair, and Rex died as he lived, with an eye-bulging grimace on his face.
Oliver and Kyle leave the courthouse with Sierra.
AND THEY LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER. THE END ...
Thanks to everyone! These nine months of liveblogs have been a blast, and your words of encouragement have made it that more enjoyable. We still have As The World Turns , and I hope you'll join me as we snark our way through the last few months of the Luke/Noah/Reid story.
