Cris and Oliver: I'm glad the writers addressed Cris's penchant for painting half naked and Oliver's reaction to it.  Nice job on that one.

He should have that photo on his brochure for any art show he has.  Great way way to start the episode.

I'm just realising, since here in many parts of Europe daylight saving time ended this week-end, we switched our clocks/watches back to one hour earlier. This means I now have to wait only until 7pm (instead of 8pm) for the liveblog and subsequent YouTube clips to be updated! COOL!

This episode is so great!!! Oliver and Cris being buddy buddy, McBain calling Fish and breaking the rules, Tea and Ross (I wanna wrestle with Ross!), Kyle and Nick!!!

My jaw keeps dropping! I only wish Roxy stumbled in drunk at some point....hmmm maybe at the wedding!

Layla comes back to the apartment, asks about Oliver. Cristian explains that he's not at home--that he got a call from John and took off. Layla comments on Cristian's painting, saying it's desolate. Cristian says that's how he's been feeling lately. Layla asks why and Cristian says gay marriage. 

Oliver's in the kitchen with the Buchanan's and McBane. He cues up the recorded conversation and Jessica Buchanan is aghast at hearing the sound of her dead husband. To verify the authenticity of the tape, Oliver says he needs a control--an actual sample of Nash's voice. Jessica admits that she has one. 

Back to the school with Matthew and Danielle and they're comparing "Who's got the whose parent" stories. Danielle thinks Matthew wins and could use her mother's help to get out of the problem--her mother is a great lawyer, a real shark, she says.

It's no fun. I hope you're ok, Snicks.

But at least I get to watch OLTL in real time...great Fish/Cris scenes and I love the mentor/mentee or father/son relationship that's developed between Fish and John. And, of course, TBTD is a goddess, those scenes with Ross are fantastic!

But am I the only that thinks the scenes between Nick and Kyle were awkward? I mean, I know that they were meant to be showing Kyle's reluctance and Nick's worry over that, but I just don't feel the chemistry or comfort between Nick and Kyle that there is between Fish and Kyle.

I suppose we get more tomorrow?

That was great. All the melodrama in the episode, they could've ended with Téa and Ross or Jessica crying over Nash, but they close with Fish showing up at Kyle's door. Sweet. I assume they're on tomorrow, as well, because I want to see what happens.

Oliver does his tech geek magic to set up a comparison with the last message Jessica had of Nash alive, but only after Jessica is assured it won't "hurt" the original.   Real techie, that girl.   Before the automated analysis finishes, McBain tells Oliver to take off, since he shouldn't be there at all.  Before leaving, Oliver urges McBain to get him reinstated as soon as possible because "the job is my life"  McBain advises him "Don't let it be." and Oliver looks pensive.

Meanwhile, Nick successfully talks Kyle down from the proverbial ledge about his matrimonial jitters and Kyle says he wants to go forward with the "not-legal-but-it-feels-real" wedding.  After exchanging   several heartfelt … shoulder pats (apparently this is a no gay kiss day on OLTL), Nick leaves.  I guess the kiss quota is being saved for the wedding day, at least I hope.

Back at the Fishbowl, Layla and Christian are technically discussing Fish and Kyle's relationship, but they're really talking about their own, with Layla saying Fish put his heart on the line and got it broken while Christian says that the real lesson is not to wait too long to try again if you love someone, because you might lose your chance.

If anyone cares, a nifty cutting-edge Windows 95 graphic confirms that both Nash messages are the same voice.

Back in Kyle's room, Kyle is having flashback's to his conversations with Oliver where Oliver told him that he still loved him.  There's a knock at the door, Kyle open's in and there is .. Oliver!

Amazing scene with Cristian and Oliver, Cris is true friend for Oliver,he could be even better to turn bi and starting dating Oliver to gets Kyle jelous,lol

and Nick is just adorable,poor guy though,he gonna gets his heart broken...Kyle should told him truth when he asked him directly about his feelings, it's not fair toward Nick. Anyway i just can't wait for Kyle and Oliver conversation,and i want more gay kisses! :)))

 

There was no liveblogging last week when Dani was introduced as Tea's daughter, so I couldn't  ask this question. I thought that Ross, Tea, and Todd were stranded on this island after Todd hired Ross to kidnap Star and Jack? If that's the case, then shouldn't Dani be younger than Jack? She looks to be at least 15 or 16 and Jack looks to be about 12?

why does nick rodriguez be so good of an actor (and adorably cute!)... even though i hate nick for again bringing the ex-lover card again on the deck and kyle as usual getting all defensive (thus emotionally manipulating him again), i i feel for nick a little bit today.  he really loves kyle but... sorry... kyle is really meant for fish... hmp!

kudos for OLTL for bringing us a beautiful love triangle where there is no evil bitch in the picture - just three men genuinely in love. 

and it IS very weird... even when i don't like seeing it... they (nyle)  should have kissed.  your boyfriend just bought you a complete suit and all you give him is a nudge in a shoulder? 

I think Kyle not kissing Nick was probably done on purpose to show Kyle's whole reluctance to this wedding and not further encouraging him.

And to show how Kyle really feels about Oliver they had him reflecting back on him an Oliver and then Oliver showing up, making it like they are linked and him just thinking of Oliver is enough to bring Oliver to him (or this is how I like to see it as).

This was a great episode! The only issue I had was the lack of affection between Nick and Kyle was really annoying. The tension was there but it was like they were told to act like they were on their first date and not that they were going to get married. If I were Nick I would have been holding or touching my man around the shoulders and hugging him to convince him to go through with it. And when they entered and ended the scene, a kiss would have been much preferred. This isn't prude day. At least we had shirtless Christian.
