Liveblogging "One Life To Live": The Big Day, Part Three "Your Chocolate is in my Peanut Butter"

I have to begin by thanking all of you for your well-wishes after my vomitous exit from Monday's Liveblog. I'm feeling better, but I now know what a Tea-esque beeyotch Karma can be. You see, I became violently ill less than an hour after I taunted a girl in swimmies. I've learned my lesson.

Fortunately, there was someone waiting in the wings who was ... quite willing ... to take over for me yesterday, so I have to give special thanks to my beloved Eve Harrington ... Um, I mean Ed Kennedy for being so eager to replace me. I won't forget it, Ed.

As for today's show, Oliver had his chance to try and talk Kyle out of marrying Nick, and now it's Roxy's turn.

I have a feeling Roxy is going to need more than a peanut butter cup to wear Kyle down this time, but even her powers of persuasion may not be enough to convince him to call it off.

Speaking of peanut butter cups, maybe it's the remnants of the feverish delusions I had Monday night, but I think a peanut butter cup is the perfect metaphor for Oliver and Kyle. "Two great tastes that taste great together". Actually, my first idea was M&M's, but "melts in your mouth, not in your hand" would be too hard to explain.

2:05PM EST: And we start with DVTM in just a towel. Suddenly I'm feeling better.

Um ... are they giving GiGi a different hairstyle every day? I love her new one ... it's very Expose circa "Come Go With Me".

Oh jeez ... Tuc Watkins. That's all I can say.

Is it just me, or is Dorian asking for some Birkenstocks for her wedding?

2:10PM EST: Viki and Dorian are arguing over the wedding as DVTM is still standing around in a towel ... eating an apple.

Meanwhile, Jessica is freaking out because the phantom caller may be ... a phantom! Apparently, the voice match proved that it is Nash's voice. She calls Brody, who promises to get back as soon as he can, but his day player sister protests.

Kyle and Nick are talking about the wedding when Amelia buts in and says "I wish I was part of a real couple". Oh, Boo-hoo. How does your real, as yet-unseen partner feel about all of this? Nick reminds her that her wedding to Dorian is what everyone is going to be talking about.

2:25PM EST: Okay, this habit GiGi and Rex have of calling each other by their last names is kind of ... nauseating. Please stop.

Uh-Oh! Amelia and Nick are keeping secrets from Kyle. He wants to know what's in store with the "plan" after the wedding, but Nick basically says "don't you worry your pretty little head. Just look good and do what you're told". After Kyle leaves, Amelia sinisterly says "obviously, you haven't told him everything?"

Outside the door, Kyle runs into Roxy, and tells her "it's the big day". Roxy says "you're telling me.! I got more appointments coming out of my ying-yang. It is crazier this week than the wax-a-thon before gay pride week!. Are you okay?" Kyle says he has jitters, and invites Roxy to the wedding, saying he needs to see a friendly face in the crowd. Roxy refuses, prompting Kyle to ask "I thought you supported gay marriage rights?" Roxy responds "Oh I do, totally. But I don't support marriage to the wrong man. That's a crime". Zing!

2:45PM EST: Okay, what is the deal with Brody's sister? I called her a day player, but she's acting like she wants to stick around. Brody calls Jess and tells her he's coming home in the morning, and sis breaks a pencil in two. I don't think day players are allowed to do that.

DVTM tries to convince Dorian to drop out of the wedding, and she says "i can't disappoint my public", to which he responds ... oh dear ... "what about your privates? I mean the people who care for you most?". Oh, David.

Amelia says "if he chooses to ...", but Nick interrupts her and says "let me cross that bridge when we get there". Hmm ... Amelia says "it's time for me to put Phase 3 of the plan into motion". Jeez, what is this, Plan 9 from Outer Gays?

2:50PM EST: Kyle tells Roxy that he and Oliver are just never going to happen, and she says "are you trying to convince you or me". I think she probably meant to say "me or you". But with Roxy, who knows?

Oh dear ... I guess Sis isn't a day player after all. She just spiked Brody's coffee. I've had the same fantasy .. but I would never actually do it.

DVTM's wall of beef has no effect on Amelia, and he takes his leave. Amelia tells Dorian "you know, this wedding doesn't have to be ... symbolic". Whaaaa?

Nick asks Kyle if he's nervous, and Kyle says yes. Nick kisses him on the head and tells him not to worry.

Sky, Shane and GiGi are dressed up as Batman, Robin and Catwoman. That's just the beginning of the Halloween goodies we'll be seeing the rest of the week.
