Liveblogging "One Life To Live": Taking a Stand

Although it has absolutely nothing to do with today's episode, I couldn't help posting the above pic because it showcases one of Oliver's adorable Fish Heads™.

2:05PM EST: Jack is in trouble at school. Blair tells him he's just like his father. Jeez, that's punishment enough.

The Attorney General tells Dorian he's come to shut down her and all the gay marriages. He says he wants Dorian to "go quietly". Is he new? Dorian insists she's going to go through with issuing the marriage licenses whether the governor likes it or not. The AG says "by the time the night is through, you'll wish Viki Banks has remained Mayor". Wow ... that's ... really unprofessional.

Destiny is jealous that Danni is around to come between her and the imaginary wanna-be relationship she'll never have with Matthew.

2:10PM EST: Todd and TBTD are arguing over Danieeeeelllaaa and Todd mocks TBTD's pronunciation and says that the first thing he's going to do is change Danni's name. Ross come in to inform them that Danni is gone.

Rachel and Greg hear from TBTD that Danni is missing, and they ask Matthew and Destiny if they've seen her. meanwhile, Danni is hiding inches away, under the hospital bed, ala Jack Tripper.

2:20PM EST: Dorian and the AG continue to argue about the legality of what she wants to do. The AG says "Mayor, if you continue, you will be arrested!" Dorian says "by who? You, and what army?" The Ag looks around, sees Oliver in his uniform and points to him, saying "HIM!" Now's the time for a Fish Head™, Oliver!

2:25PM EST: Dorian is firing on all cylinders today. She can wave around a rubber stamp AND emasculate an Attorney General at the same time. The AG warns her that if she uses that stamp she'll be arrested. She brings the stamp down with a flourish, eliciting cheers from the audience. The AG walks over to Oliver and orders him to arrest her. Oliver says "And if i refuse?", and the AG says "then i'll have your badge".

Destiny shows she's been hanging around with the adults on this show too long by secretly pressing the "down" button on the bed, forcing Danni to come out of hiding.

Ross knocks out one the guards at the jail, grabs his gun, while TBTD screams for help

Mitch continues to torment Charlie bit my finger . Jeez, is he trying to drive him to drink?

2:35PM EST: Greg is furious that destiny went along with hiding Danni, and Destiny says "I made sure you found out". Matthew is shocked, and asks Destiny if she did it on purpose, and she says "hell yeah, and I'd do it again".

The AG says "Officer, you have your orders. Place the Mayor under arrest!". Oliver walks over and stands next to the podium and says "No, sir. I can't obey your order". The AG says "she's breaking the law", and Oliver responds "well, some laws need to be broken." The AG angrily tells him "that's not your call, officer!", and Oliver starts testifying ... "With every single civil rights movement in this country, somebody, somewhere had to break an unjust law to make things right. That's just what the Mayor is doing, so couples like her and her partner, and me and my boyfriend can have the same rights as every other couple out there. We want to get married ... well, maybe, if we ever have a date first". The audience delivers a collective "awww!" Keep it steady, Oliver! He's about to remove his badge when Dorian steps down, says "keep your badge, officer", and smiles and says "arrest me. I will go proudly!

2:45PM EST: Dorian insists that Oliver cuff her and take her away. Langston tells her she can't let them take her away, and Dorian states, in perhaps the understatement of understatements "I've gone to jail for worse reasons". All this time, Markko is filming ... but i'm sure the fact she's on camera has nothing to do with Dorian's civil disobedience.

Ross is threatening to shoot Todd unless he ... says Ross is Danni's dad? I guess they're trying to make Ross completely nuts so he can be written off?

2:55PM EST: They so need to make Oliver and Dorian friends. She tells him "you're making this my favorite incarceration" as she takes off her false eyelashes. Unfortunately, Mitch Lawrence is in the next cell.

Nick and Amelia are talking about how far Dorian was willing to go when three Day Thugs approach them and say "well lookie here ...Mary and her little lesbo". I know what they're setting up, but I'm sorry, Amelia could so put a beat down on those puny guys.
