Liveblogging "One Life To Live": The Second Time Around

As you can see, today's show features all-American rejects. Oh, and it features a band named All-American Rejects. Oliver and Kyle try to get through their second date without interruptions, but there's trouble brewing for Nick!

2:05PM EST: Mitch Laurence is at his creepiest when he tells Dorian 'I heard about the new missus. Does she make you feel as good as I used to?" Eww ... I need to bathe. Dorian issues a vague threat and Mitch says "did you just threaten me in front of an officer of the law". Oliver says "I didn't hear anything".

The three Day Thugs surround Nick and Amelia and make comments like "men marrying men, women marrying women, what's next, man and dog?" Amelia says "you'd make the perfect groom". Nick has a look like "IXNAY , Amelia"

Ross has escaped and makes his way to the hospital. Dannieeelllla gets her claws out (she's a mini-TBTD) and asks Destiny why she ratted her out. Now TBTD is going to take her away and she'll never see Matthew again. Destiny smirks, badly.

2:15PM EST: Oliver apologizes for having to arrest her, but Dorian assures him that he was just doing his job, and to worry about it. Dorian and Mitch go at each other. He brings up her many failed relationships, and she ends up simply calling him "satan'

Ross sticks a gun in Rachel's back, and says he's there to see Danni and has nothing to lose, and all I keep thinking is "okay, Ross probably has about two weeks left on this show, tops".

Everyone is preparing for the All American Rejects concert, and I'd like to be excited but ... I've never heard any of their music. They could just as well be named Codpiece Bulge for all I know.

2:25PM EST: Kyle is on the phone trying to call Oliver, when the man himself walks up and surprises him. Oliver tells him about his strange day and says "guess who was in the cell next to Dorian?"

The Day Thugs tell Amelia "you've got a smart mouth on you". She goes off on them until Nick says "Amelia, just forget it, let's go". As they leave, the thugs says "Tinkerbell's nervous. Those queers need a teaching moment".

Danni is shocked and scared that Ross has shown up with a gun. He says "I'm going to take you away from here." okay, now I'm thinking he has about a week left.

2:35PM EST: Mitch knows just how to pull everyone's strings, and with Dorian it's by bringing up Starr and Hope.

Oliver brings Kyle his favorite beer, and Kyle says "you remembered!" Oliver says "for years I would hear somebody order that beer, and I'd be out by the lake with you".

Kim and Stacy may be parasites, but it's nice that they're happy about Oliver and Kyle.

Sorry this lb is moving slowly. I lost my connection for a while. Don't you hate it when that happens when you're doing a liveblog?

2:45PM EST: Shane orders Rex to throw Kim and Stacy out. ha!

Those day Thugs are not only scummy, they're also stupid. They confront Amelia and Nick inside a public bar.

The Swat team show up at the hospital to try and stop Ross. okay, maybe he won't even make it a week?

2:50PM EST: The thugs manhandle GiGi, prompting Schuyler to step in. One of the thugs slugs him, sending his face into a Strawberry Toaster Strudel (the classics never die).

Ross comes out of the hospital room with Danni in one arm, and Destiny in the other. He tells TBTD, Todd, and everyone else that he'd never do Anything to hurt Danni, but "this girl I don't give a damn about!" Is it wrong that I laughed my ass off at Destiny's dilemma?

2:55PM EST: Dorian has a white-hot freak-out and screams at Mitch. I love it!

Nick and Amelia explain to GiGi and Sky that what just happened occurs far too often. Nick leaves (alone) and is jumped on by the thugs.

The All-American Rejects perform. Oh I get it, it's "emo punk". They perform as we get a montage of scenes in Llanview. Amelia shows up at the jail to bring Dorian some food, the thugs continue to beat up Nick (leaving him a bloody mess), and Oliver and Kyle continue to enjoy their date.
