Liveblogging "One Life To Live": Later that same day ...

Judging by the preview pics that leaked out, today's episode of One Life to Live either takes place shortly after last week's kiss fallout ... or Kyle's wearing his lucky shirt again (hey, it worked the first time!)

1:50PM EST: oh .. my... god ... On the Bold & The Botoxed there's some kind of hella tacky fashion show being judged by .... wow ... Jim J. Bullock, Alan Thicke and Melissa Rivers. Am I dreaming?

2:05PM EST: David is back! Woo-hoo! Apparently he's now some kind of Entourage-esque conceited actor. Kyle and Roxy are talking about what happened in the alley, and she "apologizes" for sending Cristian out there to catch them. Okay, Roxy. Kyle is resigned to the fact the it's over with him and Oliver, and he says "he made his bed ... he can lie in it". Roxy caps it off with "he's as queer as a three-dollar bill, and nothing's gonna change that."

Oliver and Layla get home to find Cristian fuming. When she leaves the room, he says "you didn't tell her?" Oliver says "there's nothing to tell" and tries to bring up the "I was gay assaulted" thing. Cristian says "that's bull. The lying stops now!".

2:10PM EST: Oliver insinuates that the reason that Cristian is "accusing" him is because he wants her for himself. Cris says "if you have'nt told her by the time I get home from work ... I'll tell her!" Okay, what the hell is this story with David? He has people filming in the bushes? This is just too goofy for words.

2:20PM EST: Roxy is making passionate love to a cocktail when Cristian comes over to talk about what happened in the alley. He tells Kyle "I get it. He wants to be accepted on the force. But he has to tell Layla. She doesn't deserve this. I told him point blank he has to tell her ... or I will". Roxy slinks over and says "Layla's gonna need a serious "friend" tonight. So what are you still doing here?"

Layla wants to get busy with Oliver, but he does everything but say "I have a headache" to put it off.

2:30 PM EST: Layla sits Oliver down and asks him what's up, and he says "I was involved with ... someone ... in college". Layla says "yeah, so", and just as Oliver is about to come clean (possibly, but doubtful) we get the hoary old chestnut The Interrupting Telephone Call. And it's Oliver's parents, who want to talk to Layla! What are the odds he's actually going to tell her any time soon?

Oooohhh ... you use Febreeze. Now I love you even more!

2:40PM EST: Okay, so is is someone really playing Let's Scare Jessica To Death, or is it her imagination?

Cristian says "Layla knows where to find me if she needs me". Roxy actually tells the "river in egypt" joke ... and Kyle needs it explained! She says "Layla will hook up with Cristian, and then you and Oliver can be "best buds" again". Kyle responds "nope, it's over between us". She says "Oliver's scared to come out, but maybe the Llanview PD is more progresso than he thinks".

Kyle intones "it's more than that, his parents are ultra-conservative." Roxy, bless her heart, says "what's the big deal? Your kid's your kid", and Kyle shakes his head and says "you don't know his parents".

2:50PM EST: Ha! Layla goes in to kiss Oliver, and as their lips touch, he has a flashback to the Kish kiss! The only thing that could have made it better would have been if her face had CGI morphed into Kyle. She asks him what's wrong, and he says "nothing is wrong, and I'll prove it by having heterosexual sex with you, possibly getting you pregnant which will complicate things for everyone when I eventually come out."
