Liveblogging "One Life To Live": Okay, can we wrap this drug thing up already? Part 2

The hostage drama wraps up today (fingers crossed), with our Police Cop Oliver right in the thick of things.
Join us for the fun, and refresh for updates!
2:05PM EST: We start with a recap of last week, then John and Serge grapple while Brody still has that rod in his chest. Please, won't someone get that shirt off of him! To ... help him ... with the rod.
Rex is dancing dangerously close to finding out that the baby is not his, but I suspect they'll find a way out of it.
2:15PM EST: Lots of Shaun/Rachel stuff. Nora meets his family, and Rachel tells her that he planned on breaking up him. Nora is like 'what's stopping you?"
Once again, Stacy and Kim manage to worm their way out of Rex finding out (which I have a feeling is going to get tiresome really quickly). Rex gives the absolute best contorted, over-the-top facial expression I've ever seen him give (which is saying a lot).
2:25PM EST: John and Serge wrestle with the gun, and we get the hilarious old cliche of the gun going off, and not knowing for a moment who was shot. Of course, it's Serge who slowly falls down to the floor.
Okay, the Staci/Kim/Rex "how long can we keep him from finding out" thing is already tiresome. How many false alarms, interruptions, and Rex stupid moments will we have to endure?
2:35PM EST: Shaun came through the surgery, but as his father intones "it's not over ... til it's over". Thank you, captain obvious.
So how low-rent is Kim? She stole Mr. Rosenblatt's hospital dinner tray! SHE'S PURE EVIL!

2:45PM EST: Oh dear. Brody is on the operating room table, with his chest split open and covered with blood. That's not what i meant, show!
The camera cuts to both Shaun and Brody on the OR tables as the doctors shout "we're losing him!"
2:50PM EST: Egads, the Brody scene is like something out of a Herschell Gordon Lewis movie. A slow, sad song starts playing on the soundtrack, which probably means someone is about to kick the bucket.
Brody opens his eyes to Jessica looking down at him, as the doctors wipe up the blood from the nooks and crannys. Meanwhile a somber and sad Greg comes out of the operating room as his mother asks how Shaun is. He's about to answer when ... we fade to black. D'oh!
Preview Time: Nothing tomorrow, but Oliver gets a medal Wednesday ... right before his parents show up Thursday. We'll be here!
