Liveblogging "The Young & The Restless": I love my fake gay son

Today's episode of The Young & The Restless promises fireworks between Adam & Rafe (but not the good kind), and a surprising declaration from Victor.

12:35PM EST: Billy is literally about to burst the seams on that pink shirt. Yowza! Cane learns that he gave Lily cancer with all his deception ... or something.

12:40PM EST: Mary Jane is skulking around crying hysterically, and peering in windows at Jack. A stable day for her. Gay or not, I'm loving the diabolical Adam. He's framed MJ for tormenting Ashley, and now is strutting around like the cock of the walk. But he'll soon learn that he's cock of nothing, as Fish Bait shows up to out him to Victor.

12:45PM EST: I love Mary Jane's new look. She's a dead ringer for a 70's Carly Simon album cover. She rummages through some garbage cans and finds a crust of bread and a discarded baby doll. If it says "mama" and Mary Jane starts crying, this will officially be my favorite show.

12:55PM EST: We see Adam and Heather's afterglow, and we get a nice shot of Michael Muhney shirtless. Yowza! Oh-oh, Fish Bait has just spiiled the gay beans to Victor, who says "how do you know my son is gay"? She says "I know a kiss when I see one". Jack comes home to find the baby doll, now sans eyes, on his doorstep. Creepy ... but it would have been creepier if it was the crust of bread.

1:00PM EST: Oh ... my ... God. Adam just threw down a Timbuk 3 80's reference.

1:05PM EST: Rafe shows up as Heather is leaving. Adam says "i'm glad you're here, we need to talk". Meanwhile, Fish Bait is giving Victor more details about the snogging session, and he says "I'll handle it".

1:10PM EST: I'm still getting over Adam's "the future's so bright, if I wasn't blind, I'd have to wear shades" line. Possibly the greatest line of dialogue ever written.

1:15PM EST: A filthy Mary Jane is wandering around skid row chanting "kitty ...kitty?" and rolling the gouged-out baby doll eyes around her fingers. It doesn't get any better than this, folks.

1:20PM EST: Adam tells Rafe "I'm sorry, but it's over, I was confused, I'm sorry I led you on. I'm not gay. I mistook gratitude for attraction, etc., etc., I hope you understand". Rafe says "I was such a fool to get involved with you. You can't go around messing with people's lives. Someday it's gonna blow up in your face!" As he's leaving, he overturns a candy dish the couch o' sin and runs downstairs to boil a bunny. Victor comes from the shadows, having heard everything.

1:25PM EST: Rickie Lee Jones Mary Jane is crying in the alley when Mac offers her assistance to help find her lost kitty. Heather runs into Fish Bait, who says "do you have a minute, I want to talk to you about your gay boyfriend ... I mean about Adam". Heather says "mind your own business", and walks off to find Rafe, who tells her "She's right about your gay boyfriend ... I mean Adam".

1:27PM EST: Victor comes in to talk to Adam, and says "I know you're gay, and it's okay with me. You'll always be my son". He leaves, and Adam come close to crazy face, but holds back and offers up a kind of "well, isn't that ironic" face. It still works.
