Charting the gay potential of MTV's eight (eight!) new reality series

MTV has announced the launch of eight (eight!) new reality shows to premiere in the new year, two of which sound like they could be gay-inclusive reality versions of Greek and Fame.

Learn more and weigh in on the new shows, after the break.

College Life - Follows freshman at the University of Wisconsin at Madison as they adjust to life away from home. All the footage will be shot by the students themselves. With MTV's track record of inclusiveness and the fact that Madison is known for its progressive attitudes, I fully expect to see college life from the eyes of at least one gay student.

Nitro Circus - About some motocross star and his posse. Meh.

The CollegeHumor Show - Set in the offices of the website CollegeHumor.com. Since all of the vids i've seen from that website have the same theme, why not just call it "The T&A and Vomit Show"? Meh.

How's Your News? - News reports with reporters who have disabilities. Has great potential, but not sure how MTV will handle it.

Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory - Skateboarding. Meh.

Daddy's Girls - Russell Simmons's daughters Vanessa and Angela move to Los Angeles and open a store to sell their apparel line. How very Romy & Michelle. Meh.

The Girls of Hedsor Hall - "a dozen foul-mouthed party girls go to finishing school". Hasn't VH-1 already done a couple versions of this? So now MTV is ripping off its spawn? Meh.

Untitled Reality Show - Follows students of Cincinnati's School for the Creative and Performing Arts. Lots of possibilities with this, and it may tie in nicely with the new feature version of Fame.

Do any of these shows pique your interest?
