It's official: Luke & Noah had their best week ever!
Well it's a long time coming for Luke and Noah (oh behave) on As The World Turns, but after countless blog posts, articles, and liveblogs, and after exasperated sighs heard 'round the world when it seemed that they would never consummate their relationship, there was a collective gasp when they finally unsheathed. And now ... now they've received the ultimate compliment. They've moved beyond soapdom and been awarded the most coveted honor in pop culture: They've been mentioned on VH-1's Best Week Ever. After the break you can see adorable gap-toothed cuddly bear Paul F. Tompkins mention Nuke, and the historic moment when they finally exploded (and they provide a somewhat ... different take on the "train entering the tunnel" metaphor that we used during the liveblog). Kudos to VH-1 (also owned by Viacom, AfterElton's great-grandpappy) for showing the hot sweatiness in all its glory, and I guess we should be grateful they didn't insert stock footage of jousting or light saber fights. And we should just go ahead and pray Jay Leno doesn't attempt his own bit. Submitted by on Thu, 2009-01-22 13:52. |

I thought they were calling
I thought they were...
Yeah, I wasn't thinking "train wreck" either
But I'm too much of a lady to admit what I was thinking (though not too much of a lady to have seen it and or thought it) ;)
Cheers Brian
