No gay "Bromance" for Brody Jenner?

I am totally ignorant of the current glitterati - exactly who is Brody and what is his claim to fame? Is this another shallow vs shallow show? Sort of like the Tequila broad (and I mean it in the most derogatory terms)  with her bisexual show. Except it ended really good -  everyone lost!

I really have no say in this, but this show seems totally lame and artificial!

I have a thing about using animals for entertainment and that's one good reason to hate this show. The aligator (or whatever it was) is probably freaked out and totally stressed. This show smells like cr*p! Sorry, I'm not usually that vocal, but that's how I see it. I'm no fan of reality shows, so that doesn't help. There is better stuff out there!

Brody has metrosexual qualities but without all the pampering because it's clear that he takes extremely good care of himself.  Perfect skin, nice teeth and a body that doesn't quick ( I have seen shirtless pics of him and boy, oh boy).  It seems he inherited those qualities from his daddy, Bruce Jenner who was a main staple in the gay community in the 70's and 80's.  Bruce J. was pretty much a hunk in his hey days.  I have to honestly say that I wouldn't be shocked to know that Bruce took a lover or two when he was big because he was pretty sexy and very gay-friendly.  However, his very camera-ready and just beautiful to look at son is insanely good-looking and just the fact that he would be a part of a show that is called "Bromance", shows that he is comfortable being more than friends with another dude. 

It seems when Brody and Spencer Pratt from the show 'The Hills', who I have to take some time out to add is also another beautiful boy but Spencer has some people skills to work out.  It seems that Spencer is a bit of a sinster character without the pitch fork and horns and at times makes him seems unattractive but the boy is blonde, nice body and just this manly voice that sends chills down my spine.  Anyways, it seems that him and Brody were childhood friends, then both would go on to stars on 'The Hills' and then out of nowhere and partial due to the 'hook-up factor' in L.A., they were sworn enemies.  All of this was revealed within a season or two of watching 'The Hills'.  It seems that I noticed Brody was extremely broke up about them going from being best buds or sharing their 'Bromance', to being moral tv enemies.  It reminded me of how I would be if my best guy friend/sisters and I wasn't on speaking terms.  I can't imagine going through life and not talking with my crew or the people that I can drunk call at 2 a.m. after a failed date or a good date.  They patched things up but I noticed that his entire personality changed once him and his one-time best friend weren't speaking.   

I'm not going to sell this show short yet because I wasn't a fan of 'The Hills' at first but then I watched a few episodes and realized that Lauren Conrad is a gay man trapped in a cute California girl's body and what a body.  It seems Lauren is alway confused or taken a back about a boy or two, she loves clothes, fashion like no other and girlfriend loves going out and sipping on something.  The real kicker is the fact that she is always being talked about and that is a gay trait, if we like it or not.  It seems her relationships and friendships are always in limbo because she has a big heart and hangs on to memories from the past.  It seems like many of us, she is trying to save the world or at least her friends in L.A. and just trying to stay on top of her game, which I have to respect. 

I have heard 'the talk' about the gang from 'The Hills' being famous for nothing kinda like Paris, Nicole and Lindsay and all the rest of that Hollywood set but like those fashionista and company, it seems everyone wants their 15 minutes of fame regardless of who or what you are.  It seems if you can drag or stretch your 15 minutes into a couple of good years or an album or two than go for it.

Brody's dad was that gay icon in his day and this was without even trying.  It seems gay men flocked to him because he was never someone putting gay's down and saying stupid stuff in public and believe it or not it seems that Bruce on one episode of his own reality show with the Kardasian clan, it seems that he even went to a gay club in West Hollywood and actually had a good time.  Most of the young guys in Hollywood know that you can be homophobic in Hollywood or you will have no career.  You have to embrace your gay fan base before anyone else because we might not be able to marry but we create images because we are loyal and dedicated and we turn frogs into princes.  Think about any Hollywood stud and you have to realize that there was a gay following that help created his image or his HOTNESS.  Take Hugh Jackman, Brad Pitt and even George Clooney are good examples of gay men in your corner and watch your career flourish. Lets take George C. for example it seems that when he was on 'Facts of Life', I doubt that there were woman saying to one another, "The semi-cute guy with the mullet, is the guy I want to take home".  Remember at that time gay men and lonely women were swooning over Lorenzo Lamas, who was nothing more than a toyboy for Elizabeth Taylor ads and gay men fantasies.  

Gay men are always bold enough to make semi-cute guys extra and we normally share our report cards with our straight allies, mainly the women that walk side by side with us. 

Brody Jenner could be the next Jake G. or even take over that slot that D.I.L.F of the millenium, Brad P. has held down for a few decades.               

Brody Jenner is nothing like any of the other famous people you listed. He is in the Kim Kardassian school of being famous for being famous, i.e., he has no discernible talent or appeal whatsoever.

Why anyone would waste their time whatching a reality show starring this noboby is a complete mystery to me, but what ever floats your boat!

Wouldn't a more realistic approach be a show about people trying to get Brody Jenner OUT of their lives for good?

I will say Brody is kinda hot, as long as he keeps his mouth shut. One sentence and all hotness is unfortunately overshadowed by what a complete, utter tool he is...

The Gays Of Daytime

Isn't this really a retread flip of the Paris Hilton BFF show? It seems to me that TV is getting so superficial and audiences are as well that there soon won't be anything interesting on TV? Shouldn't we be as a community more interested in programming that doesn't push the stereotypes the straight community expects as well as not allowing the Brody Jenners of the world (such as his step-sister Kim Kardashian) to fascinate us when all they are doing is trying to take advantage of our voyeuristic natures? I mean come on, should this even be covered on this site? Change the channel on this show.

Brody Jenner is nothing more than the male version of the always-airheaded Paris Hilton. Yes, he's pretty hot, but a tool nonetheless. I wouldn't put too much hope in the show's title, "Bromance" -- a YouTube clip floating around makes it abundantly clear that the emphasis is on "Bro" and NOT romance (chicks only, no sharing among bros).

Daddy must have cut off the allowance and this is a way to earn his keep for an extravagant Malibu lifestyle.
