Bloody Fabulous! Be the first on your block to own the "True Blood" Paper Doll Collection
I have to admit to never understanding the appeal of paper dolls (maybe because I always preferred the models sans clothing), but Brooklyn illustrator/graphic designer Andy Swist has made me see the light. Last week Andy (who is the husband of our beloved former colleague Brian Juergens) started releasing the True Blood Paper Doll Collection and it's spreading faster than ... paper in fire (I have to work on my analogies). He started with the show's fierce gay twosome Lafayette and Pam, and this week moved on to supercouple Bill and Sookie. He'll release two more characters after each week's episode, so hopefully we'll see Eric, Hoyt, Tara, Maryann, Sam and Jason before the season ends. Oh wait, he may have to skip Jason, whose wardrobe is almost entirely fleshtone. Upset that Lafayette isn't getting action? Now he can move in on Sookie's territory (or hopefully have Eric all to himself)! Think Pam isn't getting enough airtime? Now she can be the star of her own fashion show! The choice is yours! Awww!
These are all really fun. I adore Andy as both an artist and Brian's co-host. Miss seeing them on here, but so glad they're continuing to work it on Blood Work.
"Wah-eh-vah Soo-keh!"
Beloved is right.
Brian's absence on this site is thoroughly felt, every single day.
Kudos to you for pimping Blood Work, snicks! You're a class act.
Fashion Must-haves
1. Jason has to have:
The white briefs
The Fellowship baseball uniform
The bathrobe
2. Hoyt -
The checkered polo shirt he wore to woo Jessica
3. Godric -
loincloth
the gauzy linen shirt when he saved Sookie
the grey sweater he received guests in
the white shirt and khakis when he said goodbye to Sookie
This is amazing.
I totally need to get me some (paper) action (dolls).
I'm off to explore how I can have the whole set!
