Ten more gorgeous reasons to love tennis

Tennis hotties Marc Gicquel and Gilles Simon goofing around

Last year at this time I presented you with ten gorgeous reasons to love tennis, and since the busy summer season is just underway with the French Open, what better time to revisit the subject than with ten more tennis hotties to keep an eye on?

With Rafael Nadal providing a seismic shake to the tennis world by losing in the fourth round at Roland Garros (thus possibly opening the door for a certain someone to win the title for the first time, whom shall remain nameless because I don't want to jinx him), can any of these guys step up and take the next step into tennis superstardom?

Only time will tell ... but at the very least, they're nice to look at.

Currently ranked #12, Spaniard David Ferrer is one of the hottest li'l cuties in tennis

Nine more reasons to be watching tennis (including a couple of NSFW pics), below ...

Currently ranked #7, Frenchman Gilles Simon is one of my favorite players. In addition to being adorable, he's stepped up into the top ten this year.

Currently ranked #56, Frenchman Marc Gicquel always looks like he's having fun (except in these pics, which were taken after he was struck by a 126 mph serve in a ... delicate place)

Currently ranked #5, Argentine Juan Martin Del Potro is currently one of the hottest players on tour

Currently ranked #3, Scottish Andy Murray has skyrocketed over the last year, and will be one of the favorites going into Wimbledon

Currently ranked #23, Dmitri Tursonov was born in Russia, but has lived in the U.S. most of his life. He has a terrific sense of humor ... and, oh yeah, a hot body too!

Currently ranked #10, Frenchman Gael Monfils is by the far the most animated player on the court, and another of the hottest players on tour

Currently ranked #16, Spaniard Tommy Robredo has been as high as #5, and as you can see, isn't shy

Currently ranked #8, Spaniard Fernando Verdasco is another player who's skyrocketed up the rankings in the last year and, like his compatriot, Tommy ... isn't shy

Finally, I give you this blast from the past: Jan-Michael Gambill was one of the all-time tennis hotties. His highest ranking was #14 back in 2001, and he's now more-or-less retired (although he still plays World Team Tennis). Jan-Michael has more recently turned his talents towards modeling, and it's easy to see why!
