Today marks the return of Olli to "Forbidden Love". But will our Oliver be the same?
Today is the day that Forbidden Love fans have been waiting for! After over two months of "vacationing in Ibiza", Olli will return to the loving arms of his magic Christian, and the many readers who love him here at AfterElton.com. As soon as Nanna works her own translation magic we'll have the clip for you, but in the meantime there may be cause for concern. Olli has been away for a while, and sometimes a long absence can ... change people. Christian has stayed close to his friends and family, so he's the same, but Olli was in a strange country with new people, and there's a possibility he may not be the same Olli we knew and loved. In the interest of his well-being, a couple of hypothetical scenarios, and the warning signs to watch for! Warning Signs: Olli starts calling things "groovy" and craving "porkchops and applesauce". Christian comes home to find that Olli has replaced every surface in the apartment with horrific orange formica, and can't understand it when Olli refuses to ball in the house. The final sign comes when Christian is helping Olli unpack (his luggage) and see this:
Conclusion: While Olli was in Ibiza he somehow fell under the spell of an evil curse. Christian must seek out the exorcism talents of Sam the Butcher. Warning Signs: Olli has become monosyllabic, shallow, and empty-headed. He starts wearing board shorts that barely cover his buttcrack, and calls everyone "dude" and "bro".
Conclusion: While Olli was in Ibiza he somehow fell under the spell of an evil curse. Christian must seek out the exorcism talents of Sam the Butcher (but he can keep the low-hanging board shorts). Warning Signs: Christian finds muu-muus and pink feather boas in Olli's luggage. Suspicions are further raised when a package from the Tovah Borgnine Wig Emporium is delivered, and Olli says it's for his friend, "Ollianna".
Conclusion: While in Ibiza, Olli decided to fulfill his lifelong dream and appeared in the title role of the island stage production Mame in Paradise, and has decided to take it on the road. Of course none of these scenarios is too likely, but it'll be interesting to see how the show handles the big return. Gilligan returns to Dusseldorf
This "two week" trip Olli took to Ibiza has caused me lately to sit in front of my computer crazily singing over and over "a three-hour tour... a three-hour tour..."
I kid. I just hope the show treats us viewers to a decent reunion and doesn't skip over the sexy bits.
Now Christian knows never to buy a SINGLE ticket for a boyfriend to travel EVER EVER again! This should be a lesson to us all.

Classic Olli and Christian
I've just watched today's episode on Youtube and it was excellent. For us Ollian fans who have been suffering for the past two months waiting for Olli to return Ibiza, it was worth every second. The reunion was made in Heaven. And from the way both of them were loving it up...it's apparent their love is stronger than ever. Today was Ollian at its best.
I'm so looking forward to what the writers of VL have in store for this phenominal love story.

BTW darcolover that pic is AMAZING,these 2 only have to look at each other and my mind goes crazy.From that pic i can tell Christian has a entire evening planned for him and his sweetheart that will probably start of in the bathtub.I hope the new writers are going to make this fantastic couple shine in the coming months ahead,i would like to know more about Ollie this time around,what are his dreams and ambitions and start a storie from there or maybe Ollie could have a kid somewhere that nether he or Christian know about.In any case i hope they hold of from them cheating for at least another year so i can enjoy there blissfully happy rejunion.

Ok, Ok, I'll admit to it that I broke down and had to watch this clip instead of waiting for the subtitled version to be posted. Great to see the chemistry between the two still there in full force. Others have commented before in other threads about this, but this is the first time I've watched VL without subtitles, and I was really amazed at how much you could "read into" what was going on just by the actors facial expressions, body lanuage and tone of voice etc. Question, am I the only one to think that the guy that Charlie was bummed out about at the party looks a lot like Christian ? Something about his face. I swear I thought Christian had gotten a new hair cut when this guy entered No Limits.

I don't think Sasha and Christian look too much alike. But I say HOORAY to the writers of VL for presenting a clingy STR8 guy as opposed to clingy stalker-y gays that we have been given on this side of the pond for way too many years.
I've seen a lot of the German-only eps. particularly the ones from the VL vaults of Ulli & Tom, and Tom & Olli & Ulli that have yet to be translated. Plus, the Christian-only vids.
HOW IS LOGO COMING ALONG WITH BUYING THE USA BROADCAST RIGHTS FOR VERBOTENE LIEBE? MY DVR WOULD BE RECORDING IT EVERY... SINGLE... DAY.

Don't Know Much
I've only seen *most* of the vids Nanna have put up on YouTube. But he's the guy who showed up at Charlie's restaurant to fix the fridge or something while Olivia and Olli were celebrating her modeling gig with champagne. She thought he was hot, but he dissed her saying it was too early in the morning for champagne.
That's as far as I know other than that he was reeeeally handsy with Charlie at Olli's party today. The show's website doesn't list him as a regular player.
Honestly, I only know the answer to this because I was grabbing some screencaps earlier, and ran across the episode in question.

Sascha has only shown up in
Sascha has only shown up in a handful of episodes. He first showed up last fall when Charlie met him at a gallery opening while she was out and about with her friend Elisabeth. They flirted and he revealed that he was only there to fix the wiring. Charlie then called him to invite him to fix something at the No Limits (scene with Olli and Olivia). Elisabeth later congratulated Charlie on scoring Sascha.
He was then off screen till January. Next time he showed up it was communicated that he and Charlie have been dating the entire time off screen. He wanted to spend more time, but she was busy. Olivia tried to cheer him up by giving him advice on how to woo Charlie. Charlie saw Sascha and Olivia talking and freaked out because the last time Charlie dated seriously ( http://community.livejournal.com/vl_discuss/6184.html ) Olivia seduced the guy in question and took pictures of it with her mobile phone as her first act of arrviving in Düsseldorf.
So all in all he has been in maybe 7 or 8 episodes and the majority of the relationship took place off screen. But spoilers say that Charlie is supposed to gain a new admirer from an unexpected source.

I can't speak for all fans,
I can't speak for all fans, but I think at least the German fans consider it a huge privilege that Ollian are still together at all. Most shows either do lesbians (AMC, South of Nowhere) or gay storylines (ATWT, B&S), but you rarely find shows that do both.
On VL the general rule has always been that there are both gay and lesbian characters, but if there is a *romantic* lesbian story, the gay *romantic* storyline has to go (even though the gay characters might stick around, remaining gay, but in a non-romantic capacity). Just like when the gay *romantic* storyline arrives, they lesbian *romantic* storylines have to end.
Back when Ollian started the very popular and acclaimed Carla/Susanne story was ended unceremoniously, upsetting a lot of people because they said, why end them? Why can't they at least be in the background as an established happy married couple? Surely they could be done in a way where they won't be noticed.
Well, now it looks like the new writers are giving Ollian what Tom Chroust refused Carla and Susanne, the right not to be broken up and be turned dysfunctional just because Carla has romantic feelings now. Even though, let's face it, the Ibiza thing could have been used easily to break them up. Yet they didn't go for it.
So to the VL viewer it is a great gift that Ollian get to run around and kiss and be happy in the same episode where Carla hears the angels sing when she sees Stella, gets mocked because of her crush, discusses her feelings on why she is hesitant to get involved with Stella, doodles her crush's face into her notebook and is told that Stella is in fact a lesbian too. So in that sense it was a great episode for GLTB visibility, lesbian storyline AND getting to see a happy gay couple. And it has special meaning, particularly considering VL's history and how the rivaling lesbian storyline was treated much worse when Ollian was at the stage where Stella and Carla are now.

The comment by LolaRuns gives a more full explanation. If you go to youtube and search for Folge 3317, it a collection of Carla & Stella scenes from yesterday's ep. Seems that Gregor is the only hetero member of the Mann family these days.
as I posted above, THIS is just another reason we need someone to get the broadcast rights for this show (and have it subtitled) over here and let us watch it every day.
