Confirmed AGAIN! "Ugly Betty" is moving to Wednesday night

When we reported last month that the ratings-challenged Ugly Betty would be moving from the Nielsen nether world of Fridays to a far more hospitable timeslot on Wednesday nights, the news was met with cheers and applause.
Then came grumblings that Ugly Betty was going to stay put on Fridays, and people may have thought we jumped the gun. Perhaps they even began to doubt our fearless editor Michael Jensen.
Oh ye of little faith!
Now, nearly a month after we first confirmed it, The Hollywood Reporter is saying that Ugly Betty is moving to Wednesdays at 10PM EST, replacing the recently canceled Eastwick.
Plus, the Spurf at EW (actually, the Spurf's vacation replacement) is also reporting the move (after saying last month that it wasn't happening).
Obviously, this is great news for fans of the show. Hopefully this new timeslot (which should happen after the first of the year) will help keep Ugly Betty from the cancellation ax ... but if ratings don't improve, this will almost surely be the show's last year.
As for our scoop, well, we're not ones to gloat. Now if you'll excuse us, we're going to do our Bobbi Adler "Told You So" dance.
