Watch the GLAAD awards on Bravo September 29th, and win stuff!
The 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards airs on Bravo September 29th, and promises lots of raucous laughs (thanks to the likes of Kathy Griffin) and inspiring speeches. In addition to the star power of presenters and honorees like Janet Jackson, Barbara Walters, and Sharon Stone, it also features cast members from gay-inclusive shows like Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, and Brothers & Sisters. As an added incentive, GLAAD is sweetening the pot for those who watch the show. As a tribute to UK comedian Graham Norton hosting the show, one lucky winner will win an all expense paid trip to London! All you have to do is watch the show, then go the GLAAD website and answer three of these five questions correctly: * What did Kathy Griffin’s mom say was the ‘gayest thing’ she has ever done? * While accepting the award for Outstanding TV Journalism - Newsmagazine story for 20/20’s “My Secret Self: A Story of Transgender Children in America” from Law & Order’s Mariska Hargitay, what Broadway show does Barbara Walters say she took one of the children included in the story to? * After being introduced by T. R. Knight , what does Neil Giuliano, President of GLAAD, say are the three things at the core of GLAAD’s mission every day? * What street do Jennifer Beals and Laurel Holloman (Bette & Tina on The L Word) speculate that their characters may ride off together on at the end of the final episode of the series? * Who does Becki Newton say is the biggest troublemaker on the Ugly Betty set during her the backstage interview with Jay Manuel of America’s Next Top Model? One winner will be selected from the entries and win the trip. The strange thing is, I think I could probably answer those questions now and guess three of them right, without even watching the show. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing. How would you do? Submitted by on Wed, 2008-09-17 10:54. |
