Hilarious!
Especially the ABC Affection Police. I noticed how careful they were that Kevin and Scotty not touch each other while laying in bed. Mostly because I was shocked that they showed them in bed together at all.
Has it really been 20 years since the last time we saw two men together in bed? And in 20 years, we still aren't allowed to touch each other? Even though this show, and many, many other have gone right up to Skinemax levels with the heteros?
I guess it's progress. Too bad it's moving at a glacial pace.
Lets not get carried away
I too noticed the careful non-touching in the bed scene, but I'm not going to read too much into it - after all, last season we got another bed scene, that one definitely including touching and definitely going somewhere (when scotty got promoted and kevin bought a mansion). Then of course there's the almost threesome episode (with chad).
However frustrated I get that we can't go a single episode without Justin and Rebecca in bed, I'm glad that's not also true for Scotty and Kevin. And B&S may not be queer as folk, but there has been far more intimacy shown between Kevin and Scotty than basically any of the (few) other same sex couples on network TV.
Although Kevin and Scotty get far less sceen time than Kitty and Robert, the way they are handled is really not terribly disimilar.

ABC (and Mr Olin) doubtless remain gun-shy after the great Thirtysomething debacle of long, long ago. It's "progress" that we finally saw Kevin and Scotty in bed together, especially shirtless! After previous mention of "pajamas" when Kevin was in the hospital I feared the worst. The possibility that they slept full-clothed in Lucy & Ricky beds was all too likely.
But I have no doubt the ABC AP were on-set with a ruler in hand to ensure that Luke didn't get too close to Matthew during this potentially "controversial" scene.

I never did get the fuss over the pajamas. I thought it was a very well known fact that you should have at least one 'just in case you end up in hospital'. And that is the ONLY place you'll ever wear them. :)

I'm glad they showed Kevin and Scotty in bed together. After that lovely deleted scene on the dvd-box for season 3 that showed us about 5 seconds of Kevin asleep in Scotty's arms, I wondered if we would ever see anything like it again, so it was nice to see them in that same bed again, even though it wasn't too intimate. The more often they show scenes like that, the more 'normal' they become.

I never got it either, especially since we saw on more than one occasion, Kevin and Scotty in boxers and t-shirts (or in Kevin's case, just boxers). And those pjs at the hospital looked entirely unworn to me. I always just saw it as a joke that fell somewhat flat.
Loved the Facebook! Sarah's entry at the end made me cheer! So glad she's back.
