"Torchwood" fans tweet like crazed Weevils about "Children of Earth"!

Last week during its five night run on BBC One in the U.K., Torchwood trended on Twitter faster than Michael Jackson, Harry Potter and even God. Rather than forcing you to shuffle through hundreds of pages of Torchwood tags, we've created found them for you. Don't read if you don't want to know anything about what happens before watching!

Later this week, to help get our North American readers up to speed on Torchwood, we'll bring you a brief recap of the first two seasons of Torchwood as well as a special Captain Jack feature.

And then as the episodes air on BBC America, we'll bring you our own special recap each day. If you think you know how the story ends, well, you haven't read our recaps.

Twitter may force you to be concise, but our comments have all the room you could hope for. How are you feeling about Torchwood today? As always, please keep spoilers out of your subject lines!

First Look at 'Children of Earth' on iTunes

FYI - iTunes is offering a free 10-minute "first look" video of 'Torchwood; Children of Earth', now available for download.  As an added bonus, you can download season 1 & 2 episodes (standard definition) for $0.99 (limited time).  Great opportunity for those that are just now getting onto the Torchwood bandwagon.

On Time Warner cable, if you have on demand channels then you can go to BBC America on demand and get the first 20 minutes of the episode too. The frist 20 minutes were that good, but it was fun to watch.

    well...

I only wonder if the show can be saved. I hear gwen wasnt annoying this season, yet the feeling is they got rid of everyone to make this show once again gwen centric...along with jack....plus, as i have said, 'janto' had a big fan following and with him gone, fans don't feel there is anything to stick around for...

I probably wont watch it on BBCA. i wonder how the ratings will do.

    I'll be watching

Days 1-4 on BBCA. I enjoyed the first few episodes, and maybe if enough fans stopped watching on Day 5, it'd send a small message, since RTD only really listens to ratings.

This blog not a good idea - Fix it?

I think this blog wasn't a really good idea, not enough spoilers warnings. It's more than slightly spoiler-y, some of those tweets say it all.

    I beefed up the warning.

That should keep anyone not wanting to know anything away.
