TCA scoop: A gay doctor on "General Hospital: Night Shift"?

Could Adam Grimes be playing soapdom's newest gay character?

The doctor is out!

That's right, Michael is reporting back from the TCA that SoapNet is teasing that in Tuesday's premiere of the second season of its original General Hospital: Night Shift series (which is of course a spinoff of the long-running ABC original), one of its doctors will be coming out as gay.

Now, the net won't say which doc is coming out, so we're going to have to do some irresponsible (and, given that we've never even heard of this show until now, completely blind) speculating. Our first guess would be Dr. Kyle Julian (Adam Grimes), a first-year intern. Why? Key bio phrases: "big secret", "non-existent love life", "sweet and sensitive guy", "puppy dog eyes", "can you believe a cute doctor like Kyle is single?"

Plus, other sources are also suggesting that they've heard from snoops that Julian indeed is our gay doc. We hear that the big secret comes out at the end of tomorrow's premiere episode, so if you want to catch this storyline from the beginning, be sure to check out Night Shift on SoapNet.
